Wedding Thank You Card

I got married and we got the thank you cards from the photographer. So to the front of the card has the bride and groom on there wedding day and inside has some writings. should I sign the inside of the thank you card? if so what is the best way to sign it?

Definately sign the card. It shows a personal touch. Maybe even right a little extra like "We are so happy you shared in our day" and sign it Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones or Thank you, Bob and Brenda Jones. If they are close to you you can put in Love instead of Thank you.

After thanking them for the gift, tell them you're sorry they can't make it to the wedding. Let them know that you'd like to see them, and if they will ever be able to come out your way, to please come and see you. Tell them to stay in touch, then, you STAY IN TOUCH! Reach out to them once in a while so they know you're thinking of them.

My husband and I are in the process of writing out our wedding thank you cards and was wondering if we are suppose to send one to our parents. They did not help with the cost or planning. It just seems a little weird to send them one when it is expected that they came.

Of course you do! Did they give you a wedding gift? Even if they didn't you thank them for all of their support and love.

They don't all have to be the same. Thank you notes should be from the heart, not from a template you created beforehand. Just go with the flow as it comes.

I think that it is fine to address a thank you to a friend of a parent using their first (and last) name if that is how they signed the card to us. My husband to be thinks that we should address the envelops the same formal way we are addressing our wedding invitations. I think that it is more personal my way. Who is right?

go with how they signed the cards! they were a guest at your wedding and you are an adult, i think you can skip the formality!
