I want to print a business card also just to say thank you for my ebay buyers. If I print "Thank you for your ebay (i.e. ebay logo) purchase..." Do you think it is ok? Or I need permission from ebay? Anyone know about this please advice me. Thank you.
Refering to the quote provided, I see no mention of giving permission to use their logo. Without that express permission, my interpretation is that use of the logo is unauthorized and therefore a copyright infringement.
But I DO interpret it to suggest that your "thank you" note is perfectly all right, as long as you phrase it so that no one could mistake YOUR sale as being done BY eBay. Only THROUGH eBay, as your broker.
In other words, you probably shouldn't say "Thank you for your eBay purchase," but rather, "Thank you for your purchase through eBay."

Celebrating 1 year old b-day for our baby daughter. We are printing a B-Day invite card to be sent to our family members and friends. Should we conclude the invite card by saying thank you from our daughter. This thank you annoucement is on top of the Thank you card that we will mail out. Since the invite card will be coming from our daughter to all our family and guests, we were thinking of printing "Thank you" line at the bottom of the Invite card. Please suggest. My parents-in-law are of an opinion to be extremely polite on our invite card.
It's never customary to print or write "thank you" on invitations. No one is in need of being thanked for being invited. This is in keeping with social etiquette.

We're having a debate in my company on the best impression for a thank-you card. We can hand-write each card; however, our handwriting is only adequate. It certainly doesn't have flourish or style. Else, we can take them to a printer, to put in a generic thank-you message.
What would you rather get, a hand written thank-you card in semi-sloppy (but genuine) handwriting, or a thank-you card with perfect script that obviously came from a printer?
Have a calligraphist write your thank you messages.
Our wedding is all over. We are ordering thank you cards. We would like to have 'printed' thank you cards. We need to have something generic for everyone. (Six lines maximum).
After the generic thank you, we plan on writing a 'special' note to the individual.
Please help me with the generic thank you. I have no idea where to start.
Additional Details: The 'Thank-You' cards come with FREE six lines of writing. So, why not use it?
Thank You notes are supposed to be extremely personal. Handwritten and all with the whole thank you of what they got and how you are going to use and why you like it kind of thing. So printing a thank you kind of defeits the purpose. But I agree totallywith you about if the ink is free why not use it. But I am going to tell you what I would do and why. I would go with a quote or something. Like a quote about weddings, or love, or your future as a family, or a scripture from the Bible. I wouldn't do a generic thank you. Also thank you notes are generally small cards with not much room to write anyway. Adding something too long will definitely take away the "special" feeling of a thank you note. That's just my opinion. Good Luck with it though!

The headline refers to illegal pot plants being found in America’s national parks — plants that should be growing safely in backyards rather than destroying our beautiful national parks.
She mentioned several key points such as Mexican drug cartels, increased pot potency, medical marijuana dispensaries, tax revenue, farmers, public favor for legalization, and the political nonsense stopping it from happening.
I’m sure she didn’t forget to mention all the other related issues to pot prohibition. There are just too many of them.
