Thank You Card Note

We live out of town from most of our family, and some gifts have been shipped to us before I've even gotten the Christmas cards done! Do you think its okay to write a Thank You note inside the Christmas card, or do they need to be separate?

There is no difference whether you write thank you note inside the christmas card. do what you think is best for you. That is part of being creative in so many ways.

I had an interview on Friday and would like to send a thank you note.
Should I use a card (nothing cutesy, I have some monogrammed and very plain thank you cards), or should I use stationary?

What exactly do I need to say?

Either a card or stationary will do. Also send it immediately after the interview. It could be a factor in whether you are called back for a second interview. Bring a thank-you card with you to the interview -- some candidates have them already written sealed, and stamped before the interview -- and mail it on your way home.

1. Thank the interviewer for taking the time to review your qualifications
2. Restate briefly the special skills you would bring to the job.
3. Indicate your continuing interest and availability

I graduated and they sent me cards. I want a note thanking them for the card. Please help.

Mine was pretty generic, but it worked wonders. Obviously, most of the cards that you received involved money. My thank you cards all said.. "Thank you so much for the (insert gift here) $50. It will definitely come in handy at (insert college here) Marshall." You want to make it seem personal by putting the gift received.

I am doing thank you cards and some of my notes seem a little corny! I am trying to be sincere and let people know how appreciative of baby gifts I am. When you receive a thank you, do you notice that you got the card or the message inside? What are some good things to say in them...especially for cash or gift cards?

Honestly people are just happy to get the card and know that you were raised with good manners.

For cash/gift cards you could mention what you bought for the baby with them. "Thanks so much for the gift card! I got baby Nathan a really cute car seat with it. I can't wait for you to meet him!"

I want to make sure I acknowledge receiving it since she sent it via interoffice mail, but also want to be sure I am following appropriate protocol since she is several steps up the ladder from me in the organizational chain of command here. Suggestions? Thanks!
