My wedding isn't for another week, but I am starting to send out thankyou cards and my list is REALLY long.
Is there any easy format.......you know like a fill-in the blank thingie for me to write in the thank-you cards.
I started with "Dear_____, Thank you so much for the ______."
But I can't think of anything else to write to fill in all that blank space. It's especially hard since I haven't seen some of these people in years.
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
WIth almost all my thank you's I followed almost the same script. I said
ex. Dear Aunt Linda, Thank you so much for the vase. It is beautiful! I know the perfect spot to put it. We we so happy you could come to our wedding and share our special day. It's been too long. Thanks again for the vase

You can change it up too. If they sent cash, thank you so much for your generous gift, then how you plan to spend it. ex honey moon, fixing the house etc. The key to thank you cards is short sweet and to the point. Thank you for this, we love it, we plan to use it this way, great to see you/we were sorry you couldn't come. Thanks again. Love, us

My Blackberry curve says it cant read my Micro Sd card and says to make sure that it is formatted...how do you format the Card?

open computer (my computer if youre still on xp)
right click on the drive
press format
i think the title said it all how do you burn music from itunes from my computer to my sd card in aac format. thanks for those who answered

i have a nokia 6280 and every couple of days the memory card stuffs up and tells me to format it. It is 4GB and i'm nowhere near filling it, but every time i go to put some new stuff on it, i have to format it before i can enter the memory card again and as a result, lose all my stuff. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem, or should i just buy another memory card? Thanks.
Honestly you can't. Its better to buy a new Mem card. Even if you want to fix your mem card then sure you will lose all the stored datas in it.
I am considering buying the Sony Alpha 300 and was wondering about the card format it's compatible with.
Jessops have bundled it with the most expensive kind on SD card (SD Compact Flash Extreme III). Does the A300 work with the average SD card or Memory Stick Pro Duo?

Above answerers, I guess that the SD bit is an abbreviation of the manufactuer SANDISK.
Compact Flash Extreme III cards are not the most expensive (Extreme IV are) but pricier than your average card, they do however have a lifetime guarantee. The last ones I bough came with a license or Capture One LE raw convertor and Sandisks very good data recovery programme, making them excellent value. I also got them from www.play.com who were by far the cheapest.
The difference between type 1 and type 2, type 1 is solid state, like the Sandisk Extremes, type 2 are the IBM microdirve type which feature a small hard drive.
Type 2 have fallen out of favour because of their write speed, battery drain, stability (they are quite fragile) limited capacity and longevity.
Going back just a few years solid state cards were very expensive, so to get higher capacity cards (1GB was considered huge) you had to go down the type 2 route. These days you are best to buy Type 1.
Check the play.com prices first. You cannot go wrong with sandisk extreme 3.

Your remembering to give a box of chalk, a few pens or pencils, a package of index cards, a box of erasable markers, some pushpins for the bulletin board, or even a package of copy paper will delight your child’s teacher.

I got my new D-90 a few days ago, and taking time to learn it and get comfortable with all the menus. I've probably shot 100 frames but only have 25 in memory after deletions. I'm curious to find out how to access the overall shutter count. I can't find anything in the exif data or the manual, TPF or on the net. I know I'm missing something simple, but I'm really new at this. That only works if you never format your card. mine starts at dsc_0001.nef every time i format. i dont think it exists on the camera either, but you can use opanda or even just uploading a raw jpeg to flickr will tell you how many shutter actuations youve had. from what ive read it also counts any time the mirror flips up...
