Photo Thank You Card

Is it tacky to thank people for coming to a 1st b-day with a photo card, if I write a personal thank you on the back, or insert a small note with the photo card that thanks them for the specific gift they brought her? I want to use a picture of her with her face covered in the cake.

No, it's not tacky at all! Especially if you plan to use a picture that came from the party itself, it will give people a memento as a way to remember the party ten years down the road! This is much more personalized than just grabbing a pack of generic thank you notes from the dollar tree.

Like when we get our professional wedding pictures back in a few days we were thinking of having thank you cards printed with a picture of the two of us on the front. I've seen it done before and think it's cute but what do you all think of it?

I think it's a really cute idea! It gives your guests a cute picture of the two of you. I think it's a nice way to thank your guests.

we are putting our picture on a photo card and want to say thank you in a simple sweet way with a few kind words.. any good quotes or sayings! been looking on web and not much luck..

what do you think about these? I am thinking about doing them for my thank you cards.
when you order them do they do the wallet size photo or do we have to get them done our selfs..

I love the idea, especially when the groom holds up a "Thank" card and the bride holds the "You" card. What I plan to do is have someone (like one of our parents) take the picture with a digital camera, download it on to the computer, and print them out on photo postcards, then writing the thank you spiel on the back and sending it. I don't want to wait for photos to come back from the photographer, and I definitely don't want to pay the price it would cost for a ton of professional pictures to send to everyone (who just may throw them away after a while)!!!

(this all all you need if you do the bride and groom holding thank you signs, then all that's left to do is print them! this is the cheapest and quickest way)

for my wedding thank you notes i was going to put a 4x6 wedding photo of us in each one. i received one that way and thought it was a nice touch. i already ordered them. then i decided to personalize the actual thank you card with our photo so the front cover is our photo with the words thank you. now i have all these photos. should i shove them in or leave them out? it's the same photo but i know cards get tossed and photos are kept.

Hi. I would only include them for very close family.....siblings, grandparents, aunt/uncles, etc.

For everyone else....leave them out.
