I have no idea what to put in the thank you for those who gave money.
Everywhere I read it says make it very short and to the point. I would love some ideas.

I would like to send a thank you card to my neighbour who sent flowers for my father's funeral. Is what I wrote OK? How can I improve on it?
"We would like to say thank you for your kindness and condolence in the time of loss of a family member. Also, many thanks for sending the beautiful flowers for my father. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of you sending them."
Your note is just fine the way it is. It is so thoughtful of you to send a thank you, I never expect a thank you in circumstances such as yours.

I recently buried a distant relative - I did not know any one from her community, but her church family were very kind and helpful - they provided pallbearers who knew my relative. I would like to properly thank them - is a thank you card enough, or shuold I send a gift certificate - if so, how much?
Yes, a card would be very nice.
I would not send a gift because it would make their being a pallbearer seem like it was more of a job than an honor. These people knew your relative well and probably remember her fondly and were honored that they were chosen for this duty. I suggest just mentioning in the letter how much they must have meant to her and how you were so blessed to have them honor her in death.
It is kind of you to remember them... I don't remember my daddy or brother ever receiving a thank you letter for being a pallbearer.
My Mother passed away on the 13th after a long battle with cancer. Several people came to see her at the viewing and to pay condolences. Now what do i write in the thank you cards to these particular people?

You really don't need to say much. Keep it simple: "Thank you for your thoughtfulness. The Family of XX".
