What funny saying or quote can I put in a thank you card about "eating a elephant"?

I work for a christian non-profit organization and in our last newsletter there was an article about "eating an elephant".
in greater detail, the elephant represented financial responsibilities and that if everyone who recieved the newsletter were to take a "bite" by giving $5,$10 or even $1 then that would be a huge chunk of elephant. so as the bites began coming in, the thank you cards are getting ready to go out.
the front of the card is an elephant with a band-aid on it's side. underneath it says "thanks for taking a bite". any suggestions on what to put on the inside?


that sounds kind of disgusting actually.

what to write in a congrats on getting baptized card?

my best friend is getting baptized and shes really excited, so im going to make her a card congradulating her. but im not very religious and i dont know what to write. does anyone have any ideas? other than congrats on getting baptized! lol. and shes non-denominational christian. thanks :)

What's the minimun Credit line on a Citi/ AAdvantage Card?

This is a credit card that Citibank offers to AA customers.
I just got an offer to apply an get 40,000 miles if I buy regularly with their card.

I would like to know the minimum credit line offered and a phone number that I can call to for more information.

The number that I have is for getting instant approval.

Do I send Thank You cards for baby dedication gifts?

We dedicated our 8 month baby girl to the Lord on Sunday...this is a christian dedication sometimes called a "dry baptism" anyhow, we had a luncheon "reception" party at our home and most people brought cards with money or a small gift like an outfit....

My mom and I are all about mailing thank you cards however, she mentioned for a christening/dedciation it's not customary to send thank you cards, as it is a religous event. Anyone have any experience with this?


We are dedicating my 5 month old son in September. I would definitely send Thank You notes out. I am not sure of the custom, but I think you should always send thank you notes out after you receive a gift.
