Christening Thank You Card

Making own christening thank you cards?

Im making my own thank you cards for my daughters recent christening. I was thinking of an A6, non-opening card, with a photo of my daughter in her christening dress and a small message at the side saying something simple so I need ideas for that as im no good with words!. I have a cricut machine so I need ideas for other things i could do on the card. I dont want to over do it though.

Any ideas would be great. Thanks

how about the message,

Thank you for coming to my christening, you being there made it a very special day.

print out your words onto an A6 coloured sheet, layer it onto your base card and layer the photo next to or above, depending on where you want it.

do a couple first to get your layout. if you have a cricut, it would be nice to cut out some swirls or something and use them as a pattern on your card. have a play around with a couple of designs and see which you like best.

another thing you could do is cut out an A6 size tag, and slightly smaller tag to layer, and put some ribbon on it, then you could send it like a tag, it's a little bit more different than a sheet of card.

Ideas for words in a Christening card please?

I am attending the Christening of a friend's baby girl (Church of England) and will be taking a present and a card.

Does any kind person have any suggestions as to a suitable message to write in the card.

Thank you in advance.

How about

With love and best wishes, on this Special day, and always.

Any good?

Christening thank you cards?

I am working on my sons christening thank yous but im not sure on how i should word them. I am signing them from my husband, myself, and my son. Any suggestions?

Thank you for coming to our son's Christening. Thank you for the generous gift(s). We will put it to good use for (your son's name) insert one of the following: college fund/bank account (if money). Or if it's a keepsake or clothing just say thanks for the cute (fill in the blank). (Son's name) will look so cute in it or will love it when he gets older.

What to write in a Christening card?

Its my little God Daughter and God Sons (there 4month old twins) christening soon. I have brought them each a beautiful card dedicated to each baby.. but my problem is i cant think of a nice message to put inside. I have never been a god mother before, and only ever usually write birthday cards!
I was going to put something along the lines of
"I cannot wait to see you grow into a Beautiful Young Lady." obviosuly for the girl. But i dont think it sounds right. So i basically need help on writing something nice in the card.
Thanks for your help.

Christening Poems
-Verse #1

You have come into the world so tiny,
Yet with such great promise for the future.
Before you were even born,
God planned wonderful things for you.
As you are baptised,
May you feel His love
And the love of those around you,
And may you always follow in His way

*********************************************
Welcome, precious little child,
So fresh from God above,
Baptised today in Jesus’ name,
Held in His arms of love.
May angels guide your tiny feet
And bring you smiles to wear,
And may our Heavenly Father
Always keep you in His care.

what do you write inside a christening card???

its easy to know what to put in wedding, birthday, new born even sympathy, but i'm stumped to know what to say in a christening card..... it's for a girl but i'm not religious!!??

thanks in advance!!
*tittybang*

you are really an angry person.. some one else also commented on your previous question of being in the shop with your sister!!!!

i never commented on your sisters disability once and would'nt..

..... so you'd put congratulations in the card then!!!!

The christening is a religious (christian) event. It is appropriate to wish a blessing upon the child.

"Congratulations on your daughter's christening. May she be blessed with love and happiness!"

(I'm not christian and so I don't give a christian-style blessing)

Hey Jude: What Saint Jude does

You see them in newspapers everywhere. The boxes for Saint Jude. Within: a prayer of supplication, instructions, an assurance: "has never been know to fail," a Thank You. And a rider: "Publication must be promised." That is, the satisfied customer must tell the world the goods were delivered. For an unknown, Jude is the sole saint with a syndicated newspaper spot.

I'm the only Jude I know. I am often asked: "Hey Jude, what's up with this? What does St. Jude DO?" Jude is the least-known Apostle, not one of the Twelve. He came off the bench when Judas went down; the Thirteenth man. "Jude the Obscure" is Thomas Hardy's great work. The title is a double entendre, the second meaning is an allusion to St. Jude's position in Christianity. Jude has a book in the Bible. Directly in front of that train wreck known as Revelations. He calls unbelievers: "clouds without water, carried about of the wind; waves of the sea; wandering stars." Christian poetry. The Bible really ends with Jude - not John.

November OCS & Thank you Card

Hi everyone! It's already December and the holidays are here!! Today I have my November OCS card that I made for Mary from Florida. I also made a thank you card for one of my crafty sisters. I hope to do some holiday projects soon! I have three event orders that I am working on right now. It has been a hectic week getting all of these orders done! One order is for invitations and thank-you cards for a Christening. The other two events are birthday parties.
