Bridal Thank You Card

I just had my bridal shower, and I'm looking for a little help with what to write in my thank you cards. I have finished all of the cards for those who attended my shower (thanking them for coming to the shower and also for the gift, etc). However I cannot think of what else I can include for those who were not able to come, besides just thanking them for the gift. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Make a personalized message for each member of your bridal party! Tell them how much it means to you that they are there for you on your big day. Write a down a special memory that you share with the person. Make it personal and from the heart!

We are writing our thank you cards for our bridal party as I type, are they from only one of us ie grooms men get a card from the groom, or from both the groomsmen get a card from bride AND groom????

either way is perfectly fine...

if your girls are solely your friends/family then do them only from you... but if his sisters, cousins, etc. are your bridesmaids, then perhaps you want to sign that one from both of you... and vice versa

I got everything from money to gift cards and candle holders to kinky lingerie. How do I word my Thanks Yous? Please help and thanks in advance!

The best way - hopefully you were able to keep track of who gave you what. It is usually considered best form to make mention of the gift and how useful and appreciated:

Thank you for the terrific blender. It will come in so handy for smoothies and margarita parties for years to come....

Thank you so much for the towels. They will go great with my color scheme...

Thank you so much for the gift card! They are always the right thing - and we can't wait to decide what we need to_____...

Thank you for the candle holders. We will think of you every time we use them...

Surely this lingerie will come in handy to spice things up for years to come!...

One wacky couple I knew printed up form thank-you's that were modeled after "Mad Libs"...where they could write in the gift and the adjectives and adverbs desribing their thoughts and how it would be used in a funny way that was their personality.

I got mostly money and its going to our honeymoon. So how should I word the thank you cards? Please and thank you! lol
I was thinking something like:

Aunt Helen,
It was great seeing you at the shower. I hope you had as much fun as I did! Your gift is going to make our honeymoon even more memorable. I hope to see you at the wedding!

People will like that their gift was acknowledged and appreciated - so what you have satisifies that. I think what you have is great.

If you want to personalize it a little more, you can always say, "your gift will treat us to a great dinner out" or "your gift will take us scuba diving for the first time" or whatever it is that her personal contribution might provide. My cousin did this after their wedding, they were hoping for cash, and we got a note a few weeks later with a photo of them swimming with the dolphins that our gift "made this memory possible." I doubt they specifically said, "this is Adrianne's money we're spending", but it was really cool to see them having a great time, and to know they couldn't have afforded it had I bought them a blender. :)
