I had a wonderful party but I am having trouble coming up with Thank You Card language. Everyone chipped in and I got a large gift card. In other words, there were no presents except the gift card. This is also a formal business setting. A lot of the people who chipped in did not show up.
Any ideas?

My husband's friend and his wife are expecting a baby boy.
(His first child, her second.)
The shower is later this month and I'm in the process of making them a diaper cake. (Star Wars theme, mainly.)
I'm trying to decide what to write out on the card to attach to the diaper cake.
My husband and I would like to make some pre-cooked meals for them
(I'm pretty good in the kitchen)
I figured I could just prep something in a baking dish-
the type of meal that she could store in the fridge for a day or two
and then whenever she gets hungry, her hubby could pre-heat the oven,
throw the dish in for 30 minutes
And that way they'd have something healthy, yummy, and best of all easy
on hand to feed the family when they get back from the hospital
However, how do I word in the card that I would like to do this for them?
The best I came up with was "We would be honored to see to it that the mommy has a homecooked meal when she returns home from giving birth."
And that just doesn't sound quite right...any suggestions on how I could better word it? Much appreciated- thank you!

A Naperville doctor delivered a baby boy Friday on a flight from Chicago 's Midway Airport, and officials said mother and child "were doing fine."
Dr. John Saran (right), an MDVIP-affiliated internal medicine specialist working at Edward Hospital in Naperville, said he was napping when his wife heard the pilot's announcement asking if any passengers had medical training. She poked Saran saying, "John, wake up, wake up, you've got to help deliver this baby!"
The mother, who Saran describes as probably in her 20s, went into labor in the seat right in front of him after Southwest Airlines Flight 441 took off from Midway bound for Salt Lake City.
About three nurses assisted Saran in helping the mother to the tail section of the Boeing 737, where she delivered the baby.
