Western Party Invitation

I need to know how to state the time of day in a party invitation, but in cowboy slang. For instance, if the party is going to be at 5, what is a good way to say this, but sound like a cowboy?

Five O'Clock would work just fine. Cowboys could tell time.
Five hours past Noon would also work but it would make you sound like a Dandy, Pilgrim!
I've also heard 'Five Ticks past the Noon Hour' but you might get guests arriving at 12:05.

can anyone help me? ive been looking everywhere for the right title for the invitation of my sisters 18th birthday party, its for next Saturday.. the theme is western or cowboys...oh yea if some of you also know some nice western/country songs or anything related to cowboys/cowgirls please include it also or the artist name is okay...

I am throwing my mom a surprise 75th birthday party on August 2nd. I am renting a local community center that has round tables and chairs for us to use; and access to a kitchen. We are not able to decorate the walls so I need decorating ideas. I want country (no apples) feel but not western. I was thinking of blue gingham linens with sunflowers or maybe daisies. Blue, white & yellow are the colors I was thinking would blend well. I need centerpiece ideas, simple finger type food ideas, invitation ideas, cake ideas, gift ideas. If you have any that you would be willing to share with me I would be very thankful. I want to give her a very unique party surrounded by those who love her as much as I do. My mom is a simple country girl who is not really into all the frills, lace, bells and whistles so to speak that others are accustom to. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Go with the daisy themed idea.

Get blue/white gingham tablecloths, get white vases for the yellow/white daisies for each table's centerpiece. Get different styles/sizes for the vases...for added interest.

Use yellow or blue for the plates & glasses.
Get a nice cake with a picture of a barrel (or wheelbarrow) with yellow/white daisies spilling out of it...out in a field with maybe an old rusted wagon in the background. You could even get a small barrel/cask for the main table with yellow/white daisies spilling out...

Use this picture for the invitations....

For food, (besides the cake) serve finger sandwiches...basic stuff like ham, turkey, chicken, roast beef...& white/wheat bread. Maybe even pimentio cheese...maybe some potato salad...or even fried chicken tenders.

Maybe some fruit...cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, apple slices, etc. maybe some cheese cubes...cheddar & pepper jack...etc or just a cheese ball & crackers.

Serve it all with pink lemonade.

Gift ideas----same as always....whatever she likes... Maybe a family picture that you've framed & put on display....by the guest book.

I need an idea for a theme, any themes except for western, it's been taken ;) and a really good invitation idea that will make people want to go to her party, it's going to be a house party with about 20 - 25 people invited :)

theres like loads of great themes but like i thought of maybe
a black & white party theme. or a retro birthday party the invitation cards can be written on cards and attached to the big sunglasses of the 1950s. This will make it different from the regular boring invitation cards. & you can arrange for like a juke box and soda machinee :D
OR you can have like Las Vegas them like everyone dressed nicely and casino tables and that sort of stuff :D invitation can be like a posh las vegasingy type lool.
but, hope it goes well the party :D
