my boyfriend's sis is getting married in 3 weeks and i fave no clue what to write on her card and i do not want to sound corny or stupid

When my boyfriend's sister in law got married. I just signed my name to the card. Don't feel obligated to write something. Sometimes a simple, "Congrats and Best Wishes" is enough.

The guests are close friends and already know that it is a gift card shower.

If they already know that it is a "gift card shower" it does not need to be re-announced, nor should it be put in the invitation.

They already know - and it's tacky to include such things in the invite.

I received a gift at a recent bridal shower that was for both shower and the actual wedding which is about 3 months away. What is the proper way to send a thank you? Do I send one now and cover the thank you for both, or do I send one now and a second one after the wedding?

Send a note of thanks for the gift now. After the wedding, send a note of thanks for their attendance and their friendship.

My department at work threw us a wedding shower, and I'm not sure how to greet them, or to end the note. I don't want to use the department name - it seems impersonal, but "Dear friends" sounds like I'm about to give a speech. I also don't know how to end it. I don't like "sincerely" - would "Thanks again" be okay?
I wrote separate notes to each person who bought me an individual gift. The other 20 people contributed money for one person to buy gifts. I also wrote a note thanking the person who planned the shower.

I have a stationery business so this is something that really interests me. I have always been into thank you notes form when my parents made me write them at a very young age to now, making and selling them as my business! I think with writing individual notes to those who gave individual gifts is perfect. Writing one to the person who threw the shower is also right on. I think with a big group contribution, a heartfelt group email thank you is perfectly acceptable. If you do wish to write something on paper, send it to the head of the group to be shared with the rest of the group. But i do think you have handled all of the correspondence perfectly and a group email should suffice. It is ok if it sounds like a speech. All thank you notes do to a point. Dear friends, thank you so much for... how lucky am i to have such wonderful co-workers etc. thansk again for your thoughtfulness. signed, you and your fiance.

How about Roses are Red, snow is white, the groom will be happy, if the bride is tight.. or Wishing you the best, a long life together, to spice up the wedding night, try wearing leather,,, or something realistic,,, Love each other always, respect each other wishes, Help each other out, even doing dishes,,,,sometimes a little humor helps .....
