If you need more ideas, they have about 40 more here while I didn't see an exact match for a tea game I am sure something will work.

They told us to write down a recipe and bring a related kitchen gadget. None of the recipes I use really require kitchen gadgets really. Any ideas?
Take a cheese biscuit recipe and a biscuit cutter or cheese grater.
CHEESE BISCUITS (Recipe courtesy Paula Deen)
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup grated sharp Cheddar
1 cup buttermilk
Salt
1/4 stick butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, to taste, and sugar together using a fork; cut in shortening until it resembles cornmeal. Add cheese. Sir in buttermilk all at one time just until blended. Do not over stir.
Drop by tablespoonfuls, or use an ice cream scoop, onto a well-greased baking sheet. Brush dough with melted butter. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Other recipes/gadgets to consider:
cookie recipe and cookie cutter
Egg casserole and a whisk
Garlic bread and garlic clove press

we plan on moving in together when we get engaged since our new house will built by then.
i would love to have a kitchen tea/bridal shower so people can get me crokcery, appliances, cuttlery etc before we move in!!! hahaha.
any ideas about HAVING A KITCHEN TEA/BRIDAL SHOWER during or near our engagement party????? ideas and opinions would be much appreciated because i dont want it to look weird or stupid thanks.
You don't throw showers for yourself. You might consider an open house to invite people to see your new home. However, you can't tell them to bring a specific type of gifts or that's asking for gifts as well.
However, if anyone asks if you need anything for your new home you can certainly tell them you are trying to buy things for the kitchen. Chances are great they will get the hint and want to give you a kitchen gift.
I like baskets. I get a large enough basket to place all my items inside it; then I fill in the smaller areas with kitchen utensils (don't you just love them?--garlic presses and wine bottle openers and tongs..you can never have enough of those things!) Then take colored celephane plastic sheeting and wrap the whole thing in it. Finish off with a huge bow and a card. Never fails to be the center of attraction at any shower.

Fashion Momma: Bridal Shower Weekend
Anyhow, because I have no intention of anyone taking pictures of me today, I'd love to share some of my weekend with you! The main reason we traveled up to VA was my little sis (SAI), Casey's bridal shower. I am SO glad I went. Casey's sister and mom (Lindsay and Trish) did such a wonderful job coralling in good friends and family to celebrate Casey's upcoming wedding to Derick. I can't wait for May 22 to finally MEET the man my little is going to marry! I also got to spend a lot of chat and catch-up time with my little sis, Kristen. Yep, I was one of the lucky SAI sisters to have two beautiful, sweet, and super talented twin littles. :) So here is a photo journey through Casey's shower!
