Kids Birthday Party Invite

We're having my son's 3rd birthday at a kiddie pool, and I'm facing the dilemma of whether to invite my friends without kids. On one hand, there's not going to be a whole lot for them to do there and I'm trying to keep expenses down (kids parties can add up!) but on the other hand I don't want them to get upset if they're not invited (I know a few of them have already bought him presents, too). What to do?

hey, invite them pls no matter whether they have kids or not..they are ur frnds and they will definitely be upset if they are sidelined.

For my 13th birthday party, im having a hotel party (my moms going to stay with us.) I really want to invite 6 kids, but she will only let me invite 3. How can I convince her to let me invite 6???

You prob can't cause mom's are super stubborn. But I would ask her why she is concerned about the extra 3 kids. Then help reassure her that you understand why she is worried and you will try to make sure that none of the bad things she is worried about happen.

I had a big birthday party for my son's 1st birthday and invited all family and friends. For his second, I only invited my best friend and her two kids and another friend and her son. My son will be 3 in June and I have reserved a great park for his birthday (pavilion area) and have the guest list with only friends with kids and grandparents and godparents. I have a lot of good friends but is not not really appropriate to invite them to a kids birthday party? Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's inappropriate at all to invite friends w/o kids. And people won't think you're only inviting them for the gifts, they'll just be happy to be included. The only thing is, don't invite people b/c you feel obligated and don't want to hurt their feelings. Having more people can be more stressful (and cost more) so keep that in mind as well!

I just found out that a little girl had a party and did not invite my child. We had had this same little girl to every birthday party my child had for the last four years, shouldn't it be reciprocal?
I always have my child invite the kids who invited her. Am I wrong?
Oh these are third graders
I should add I am pretty good friends with the mom and the child is one of my childs bests friends. My child is deeply hurt. At my childs birthday we even invited her little sister. And my daughters friend has come to our house for numerous playdates and only been asked once over to their house. If this was a child who my child was not that close to I would not have a problem, but it is one of her closest friends.

I would let my child decide who they want to invite. And leave it at that.

I am having birthday party for my daughter who is turning 5. And my son is 7 year old and he insisting on inviting his friends from his class too. Now i am not sure if its ok to invite his friends and i dont want him to feel left out.
If i can invite then what should i write on his friends invitation card that who's party is it.....Please help.

He shouldn't be allowed to invite his friends to his sister's party. It is her special day. He has his own birthday to have his own special day. Also, since when do we let kids "insist" they are going to do something? I thought we as parents did the insisting.
