Inviting Company

I am doing online share trading. I am in learner stage. Now i have got a letter from SPIC company for inviting me to a General Meeting. But i couldn't understand that. If anyone receives the same, please explain me for what it is?

As a shareholder of record (any amount, even if you only own one share), you will receive an invitation.
Very common, happens all the time.

Does the invitee call to confirm or does the hostess call to confirm?

The host calls to invite (if it is casual - if formal, they send an invitation). If the party accepts during the call, then that is all that needs to happen. If the party has to check their schedule to make sure, it is up to them to let the host know.

If it is an invitation, include RSVP on the card - the invitee should respond via telephone, except in the most formal of occasions, which merit a written acceptance.

The company that I work for never invites the accounting department to any of the company parties. We had a 30 year anniversary and the company invited every other department and the customers to this elegant party except for my department, that was a year ago, this year they did it again. Should I be upset?
We are not an accounting firm we are the accounting department ( accounts payable and accounts receivables)

I don't know the companies side of the story but it does seem unfair . It depends on how the whole thing is perceived by management. Since customers are invited, I'm thinking it's a get together of people who interact with each other in the course of normal business. This would include sales, customer service, engineering and manufacturing people. The accounting department might be perceived by the customer as the ones who won't increase the line of credit or always pressing for payments (how unfair). If the accounting department isn't important to management why don't they get rid of it ? Obviously that's not the case so you'd think that a 30 year anniversary would merit an invitation for you.

But it turned out that eleven of the schools initially invited did not come to the presentation. 3050 = 61*2*5*5 = 50 * 61

the initial plan was 50 books for 61 schools, but ended up being 61 books for 50 schools.

answer = 61 books.

Throw a little party together for the exec. Everyone loves a party. Get a caterer with a good bartender and a couple waiters and you are set.
