I'm going on holiday soon and I want to go crazy with photo taking but my memory card is only small so I'll need to wipe the memory card everynow and then. The thing is that I don't want to take my laptop....
....So, the question is...is there a machine that I can just plug into the mains and then slot the memory card into it and the pictures will be stored on it? Like a mini external harddrive sort of.
Any ideas of any kind are appreciated!
you get these little portable hard drives, that will take read from the memory card and take the photos. then later you plug the hard drive into the computer.

My boyfriend & I went to Canada over the summer had took hundreds of photographs of our holiday. When we got back to the UK, we transferred these onto disc and deleted them from the memory card as they'd almost completely filled it up. Unfortunately, my bofriend had his bag stolen which contained the discs :0( We are absolutely gutted because they are our only reminder of the fantastic holiday we had...
...is it possible to reverse the process of deleting photos from the memory card? If so, can anyone advise me how to do it or who to contact?
Thank you!
It depends on the camera when I bought mine it had a disc that came with it that does just what youre asking, maybe get intouch with the manafacturer of your camera and ask if they do one mine is called image re call here is a link to mine.

I took many photos with my digital camera that had a new 4 gig memory card in it . I did not delete them but I scrolled through the photos and I know they were there . However when I removed the card and inserted it into my computer . The photos taken were gone . I need to know if they can be recovered as they are holiday pictures and are very important to me and my family
This might help you... I completely understand your situation!!!

1) Digital or film camera 2) Film if using a film camera (I prefer Ilford HP5 B&W film) 3) A textured artsy cardstock (I chose black for my B&W prints) 4) Gluestick 5) 3M spray adhesive (which I prefer) or you can use gluestick 6) Exacto knife 7) Cutting mat / surface (not pictured) 8) Metal ruler 9) Brown paper grocery bags or brown paper on a roll (for making envelope… As I like black & white and old towns, I visited historic Jerome, Arizona to shoot some rolls.
