I just purchased my graduation gown and the long sleeves are sewn shut at the end. There are small sleeve holes at about the short-sleeve-length point on the bottom side of each arm, but when I shove my arms through these the gown looks ridiculous.
I surmise there must be some sort of a trick to this that I'm missing, but every graduation gown I've ever worn had just standard sleeves. Does anyone know how this works?

I'm a bit confused on what to wear under a graduation gown. Something nice, of course, but does it have to be a dress?
What about a blouse, a skirt, and pantyhose? Or should it be really formal?
it depnds on what u wanna wear, if u wanna wear formal u can, but pantyhose would be nice, but probably really hot
Perfect for elementary school ceremonies. Hat is cloth with nylon a tassel. Top of hat measures 8" sq.

I tried to remove small stains from a white polyester graduation gown using a cloth. Well the stains came out but now I have water stains. The tag says "do not wash or dry clean". Any suggestions?

Alright so my high school is having its graduation ceremony tonight, and I don't really know what I'm supposed to wear underneath my graduation gown. Is there some sort of unwritten rule that you're like supposed to wear a tuxedo underneath it or just something comfortable like a white shirt? If it helps out, the gown is purple. Thanks.
dress cloths, not a tux. you wear a suit, or dress shirt and tie
its 100% polyester and you cant wash it or dry clean it. my boyfriend is graduation from college today and he doesnt want the fold lines in his gown...
Run the shower on hot and hang the gown in the bath room and close the door. Hot steam cures all!!!
