It's not a formal bridal shower, something fun and quirky...but when wording the invitations do I need to use periods...etc...like a wedding invitation?
If it's a non formal event then do the invitations exactly as you wish - if anything do not use punctuation at all and make it fun - it also tells your guests that it will be a fun casual affair...

My friend and I are throwing a mardi gras themed bridal shower and are looking for unique or fun sayings for the invites. So far I like "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roule" but I don't know where to go from there or if that is even appropriate. It translates into "let the good times roll" Thank you in advance for your responses.

I'm looking or a website that has free clip art. I'm making invitations for a bridal shower and I can't find anything modern or fresh looking in my clip art gallery. I have heard people say that a bridal shower is strictly for the bride and to get her something like lingere or something sexy and fun. I have also heard that you should get her something off her registry. The bridal shower invitation listed where she is registered. Am I expected to get her two gifts from her registry, one for the shower and one for the wedding??
Yes. Youre suppose to get the bride something "personal" that is just for her then get a gift for the new couple at the wedding. A suggestion would be a gift card to Victorias Secret or some "smell good stuff". For the wedding...I would try his and her personalized terry bathrobes. Theyre different and can be used for years to come.
