Bridal Shower Invite

We are throwing a bridal shower for my friend and since she has everything, she wants a "Honeymoon Fund" shower.....

BUT how do we word it in the invite???

It is not rude at all. It is resourceful! One of my friends was staying at a Marriott, and they have an online registry to help the couple with dinner, massages, etc. That made it easy and not awkward.

A way to put it would be:

Since the bride and groom are set at home, in lieu of gifts, please feel free to contribute to their honeymoon!!

These are fill-in-the-blank, bridal shower invitations that feature a colorful illustration of a bride carrying a stack of gifts.

I live in Washington, having the wedding in Las Vegas, my maids of honor live in 2 other states. I have friends and family members all over the country who are coming to the wedding. Who gets invited to the bridal shower? Do I invite only the girls invited to the wedding who are local? Or even though I know the out of state people can't make it invite them anyways? Im not sure what to do. Can I send evites to some of the girls and paper invtiations to others?What is proper for send invitations? Is that when I include my enclosure cards? Please help!

Only local girls who you anticipate will be able to come should be invited. Otherwise you are begging for gifts... bad form. And make sure that one of your bridesmaids or your mom is putting all this together for you... as the bride, you shouldn't be doing any of this. Good luck!

I am throwing a bridal shower for my friend and the theme is "Fall in Love" because it will be in the fall.
I want the invite wording to be cute and clever and somehow include the "Fall in Love" anybody good with wording?

If you want to have an invitation that opens, you can just have the phrase "Fall in Love" on the front page, then when you open it have the normal invitation wording.

One of my boyfriends closest freinds is getting married (my BF is a groomsman). The other day I got an invitation to his fiances bridal shower. We've gone out on double dates a few times but I really don't know her that well. Should I go to the shower? Or was she just inviting me to be polite? Shes a really nice girl but I just don't know her that well. I will deffinatly be at the wedding, but isn't the shower for family and close friends? What should I do?

I've been in this position before and I went. If your boyfriend is a groomsman and you are all friends it's only right for you to go. If someone asks who you are just introduce yourself and politely explain you're a groomsman girlfriend. Weddings are fun times and if she didn't want you involved she wouldn't have invited you. Who knows maybe it'll give your bf an idea ;-) Just playing. Have fun and make sure the bride sees you there if only for a moment.
