Bridal Shower Card

I was invited to a Bridal Shower-got the normal gifts off her registry (and bought a naughty one too!) She is a close friend and we have been through a lot together, including a lot of bad times. I don't think its appropriate timing to talk about bad times as its a joyous event! What do you suggest me writing in her card? Example: Quotes, advice, etc.

I just had my bridal shower and most guests wrote either 'congratulations' or 'best of luck'. and most of them said something about looking forward to the wedding. When I go to a bridal shower, I always write something like:

Dear Jane,

Congratulations and Best of Luck!!
I can't wait until the wedding.

Using Cricut Machine to make a Bridal Shower Card.

My sister is getting married soon and we have her bridal shower on Sunday. I have to write her a card, I don't know what to put in it though. Like, I'm 16 and I don't even understand what the point of this bridal shower is or what I have to put in this card. I don't what to say or what to write about. So can someone please give me some ideas of what I should write?

A bridal shower is when people "shower" the bride with gifts, usually from her registry so she can start a new household. But there are types of showers where she gets lingerie, too. Both are a way for the female members to play silly games, tease the bride, and so both sides can get to know each other a little. Just some female bonding time.

My friend is having a wedding in april and i wanted to make some bridal shower invitation cards for her. am currently using windows xp but i don't know how to make the card. any help on how i can make one?

This should be fairly straightforward: Microsoft Word will let you do the layout. Do you know what wording you want to use? Type it in, use the formatting menu to pick fonts and layout; use the insert menu to add graphics, and use the page setup option in the file menu to pick the paper size. Try a sample print on cheap paper, and then run the invitations on your heavier-weight invitation paper.

I am the MOH and wondering if I can stipulate "gift card shower" on invitations or is that tacky? I am totally new at this and don't have a clue.

I wouldn't do that. That would be tacky. You don't ever want to dictate to guests what to give as a gift.
If she's not registered anywhere, then chances are you might have people that will ask when they RSVP, and then it can be discreetly suggested.
