i'm makin b-day invitations for my brother n then my mom says on the place where its says "for" ur suppose to put the birthday persons name.. is that true? i would say tht u put the guests..
You are supposed to put the birthday boy/girls name. How else will the Invite know who it's for? When you are sending/ giving the card, just put the name of the invite on the envelope. Hope this helps!

My little girl is turning 1 next month, and I am ordering invitations for her party . We are new to the area and I am inviting a few moms that I have befriended, but still don’t know VERY well. My daughter loves elephants and is VERY small for her age (she just began wearing 6-9 month clothing at 10.5 months of age). Do you think it’s rude or pushy to put these two things on the invitation. Personally, I like having ideas about what the birthday boy/girl likes when I get invites, but I don’t want this to be perceived the wrong way. That’s what I thought. Again, my intent is not to ensure she “gets” particular gifts. I was wondering if this was a good way to help out people who want to get her gifts since they don’t know her very well yet.
