My son is having his 5th birthday party as a dinosaur party. We have several things planned such as a "dino dig" (dig in sand for toy dino), making our own volcano erupt and creating a cool dino fact book. I have all this planned but cant think of a creative way to word his invitations. He is inviting his whole Kindergarten class (some of which do not have the money to bring a gift) so i also wanted to include that gifts are not expected on the invites. Any ideas?

My husband's 30th birthday is coming up. We are having the party at Rock Bottom Brewery, a classy but affordable place. How should I word the invitation to say that we will pay for appetizers, cake and ice cream, but not the drinks and the main food?
Is this rude? There are lots of meals for 10.00 and under there, so its not like it's a really expensive restaurant.. Still, I'm wondering if it's rude!
See if the place has a web site with a menu to show guests. Put on the invites exactly what you intent to provide. And tell them what you told us there are many choices under ten bucks if you want to order dinner.

What to put in them, when to send them out, and even how to make fun and cost efficient invitations!
The first thing to know is when to send the invitations out. Think about it. If you send the invitations too early, then your guests might forget. Send your invitations out too late and your guests might already have plans. Typically, the best time to send out invitations for your birthday party is about 3 weeks ahead of time.
