I had a baby shower and so many people gave more then one item to my little baby boy. Not sure how to write a thank you card with so many items.
Example- Receiving blankets, Clothes, Toys, Bath stuff.
Help!!! i'm not good at writing these things.
Thank you in advance for all your help!
I wrote them all from my sons point of view and I choose to write about an item that would be easiest to do this.. for example
"Dear Nanna,
I must say that mommy is thankful for the cabinet locks.. but I am not.. how am I supposed to break into mommies cabinets to steal pots and pans? or dump all of her plastic containers? I don't know what those chemical things are.. but they sound like fun too!"
they went over really well.. I got dozens of calls thanking me for the cards!

My husband and I was married last year and we still have not sent it out to people to said thank you card because we was moved, and just got a baby, also money...but we feel soooo bad for still not sent it out so now we finally going sent it out but i do not know how to said we are sorry for this really late card?... should i said " we know this is very late card but want to said thank you for the wedding gifts and very sorry for late card because due moved new house, had a baby boy, hope you forgiving us for this late card and thank you so much for the wonderful wedding gifts" i will sent it out with our wedding picture and our baby boy together with the thank you card.. how that sound? or if you can help me what to said how really sorry for we for sent it late card? with your help will be wonderful and thank you...
If you still have your list of who gave you what an etc, yes you need to send them out. Late is better then never. If you are good on the computer, create a form letter that tells them everything that has happened since the wedding and thank them and then to personalize add the item they gave you and how you used it.

I have had the same midwife every appointment throughout my pregnancy and was really hoping that I would have my baby boy before my due date which was yesterday as my midwife is finishing Friday as she has only been on loan. I would like to get her a card to thank her for making me feel at ease with everything etc can anyone give me some examples of something I could write or adapt.
Many thanks
she will be touched that you bothered at all so just write from the heart - tell her how she's made you feel at ease and how her supportive manner has made you feel cared for and informed throughout the pregnancy. You'll miss her input and will be reminded of her wonderful care by your baby boy (I still think of my wonderful OB/GYN who i had instead of a midwife last pregnancy/delivery) who you'll tell about the lady who helped you through things when he's old enough to understand. Or something like that maybe?

My husband's friend and his wife are expecting a baby boy.
(His first child, her second.)
The shower is later this month and I'm in the process of making them a diaper cake. (Star Wars theme, mainly.)
I'm trying to decide what to write out on the card to attach to the diaper cake.
My husband and I would like to make some pre-cooked meals for them
(I'm pretty good in the kitchen)
I figured I could just prep something in a baking dish-
the type of meal that she could store in the fridge for a day or two
and then whenever she gets hungry, her hubby could pre-heat the oven,
throw the dish in for 30 minutes
And that way they'd have something healthy, yummy, and best of all easy
on hand to feed the family when they get back from the hospital
However, how do I word in the card that I would like to do this for them?
The best I came up with was "We would be honored to see to it that the mommy has a homecooked meal when she returns home from giving birth."
And that just doesn't sound quite right...any suggestions on how I could better word it? Much appreciated- thank you!
"Cathy -- we would love to help stock your freezer so you don't have to worry about cooking when baby arrives. Could you get in touch with me about your likes and dislikes? Wishing you all the best, Suzy"
Three friends recently had baby boys and i want to make them each a congratulations card, that is pretty but not too cheesy. I can't afford to buy them one as have no money! But I have some cardboard and stuff at home. Any ideas for what images to put on it would be great, it can be a bit childish as my son will get the blame for it anyway!!
Also any ideas for free but thoughtful presents I can give them? I know it sounds stingy but i have a budget of only a few pounds this week for food and nappies! Thanks all you creative people!
Oh and i don't have a computer printer so can't do the whole printing thing. also don't like the idea of an e card.
You can use your fist to make baby footprints on the card. Paint the pinky side of your fist and stamp it on the paper. Then use your pinky to add toes. You could use baby to make a peapod with a baby's face as one of the peas. You could use paper to make a diaper or a baby carriage for the front too.
As for presents, most mew moms would love a meal they didn't have to fix or someone to do their dishes or laundry.

The Best Way to Express Thanks for Baby Gifts by Jane O'Neill
In this advanced age of technology where emailing, texting, facebook and twittering seem to be the most used forms of communication it can be difficult to choose the most appropriate way to say thank you for baby gifts. All these forms of communication are great to announce your new arrival and let friends and family know about the latest addition to the family but there is nothing better than receiving something physical, such as a thank you card to give to friends and family to show your gratitude and appreciation. When a new baby enters this world, it is a time of great celebration and friends and family spend a considerable amount of time choosing an appropriate gift for the new baby as they...
