Animal Print Invitation

Tomorrow, my niece is having a Safari Birthday Party. I have two 2-year-olds. One boy and one girl. Today, I was looking
online for cute outfits that they could wear, because the invitation said "Wear your best safari gear!" My kids were going to just wear brown pants, tan shoes, tan shirts with a lion or tiger on them, and a animal print sweatshirt.

Today though, I found this whole Safari Collection on gap.com.

Later today, I'm going to go to the mall and buy them each an outfit. I was just wondering if you like what I was going to buy them.

I'm planning on having a sweet sixteen! My party is still not 'till end of November, beginning of December. My theme is African Princess. So I'm planning to have a couple anilmals! My invite will be a invitation card w/ a head wrap (for girls) and a flat hat (for guys)! Here is a pic to understand better :

For food I'm gonna ask an African Restaurant to cater. And I'm planning to have a chocolate fountain. And of course a DJ. My mom knows one so we get a discount.So what I'm asking is like what activities am I going to have? Please give me ideas. Thanks a dozen!

I'm having a jungle themed party for my 18th birthday. Any ideas on decorations? I was thinking I could use lots of animal prints and have vines hanging and stuff with lots of plants all over. What about invitations? I don't want just a boring piece of paper I want something more creative and fun for the invites. Thanks for your help.

your ideas for decorations are pretty basic. you should tell everyone to "dress the part" it will make it alot of fun,you can also use Wicker furniture, not white but brown.

for invites use animal fur! you can buy fake fur at craft stores. on the back write you message. Roll them up and tie them with some twine and maybe a bone shaped bead?

since its a jungle theme some decorations can be FREE!! my favorite word! Go out side and Gather sticks and plants for decorating the tables and corners of the room.. just double check for bugs before you bring them in. you dont want a stick full of ants to be placed on your snack bar!

I escape finally my emotional dependence upon an abusive husband.
I go answer an add which asks for designers of exotic animal cards and get the position. My boss, a middle aged woman looking amazingly alike what my mother-in-law did in ACTUALITY some 11 years ago, seems fair-minded and professional.
(No, my husband then, my actual Ex, was not abusive.)
My first assignment is to draw almost into Extravagance different types of birds, which please this boss very much. She then asks that
I design a costume for the one she prefers and tells me, it will be a prototype for a New Year's party she is giving for V.I.P's. I do as I am told but think that the changes she makes to my design when these return from the fabricator look like near-porn. She tells me a mistake has been made and that the costumes have been returned to be altered and they would be back the morning of New Year's eve,. I trust her, although I am now thinking there is something very sinister to this woman, but decide to trust her one LAST time. She asks that all the employees; both young men and women, return that evening early, for we are to don the costumes and help deliver cards of invitation at the door, as people arrive. She tells me, she has chosen my cards.

On New Year's Eve I return, put on my exotic bird costume, and it has NOT been altered at all - she, the boss tells me there was something which held them up, so they'd return untouched. I tell her that they are near-porn, to which she answers: 'get the costume on, stop crying it is spoiling your make-up and be out A.S.A.P.!' I put on the costume and go out to a huge lobby-like room where she's giving directions, but very harshly and intimidatingly! She sees that I am still crying, and in a very vulgar way tells me to: "Get my tail feathers down on the seat, and listen, or else! She hands out the cards of the bird I've designed, BUT someone else has set print into them. It is a "gentleman's private club", and we are the bait. I try to protest but she tells me to go prepare myself to "Welcome" the V.I.P.'s" 'And clean up your face' she warns me, 'or this is t your last day here!'
At that moment something in me goes blank, and I feel nothing except a buzz-like sound increasing of volume in my ear, and the whole of my body...Instead of doing what she says I take all the boxes of cards, throw them up into the air like confetti, and save about 5 boxes to go near to her and throw the contents at her.
This I do!
When I am finished I attack her physically with the strongly made boxes, causing her to scream for help, but the other employees do not respond. Instead they applaud. I am astounded..but I am not myself, anymore!
I hear a guttural sound coming from my throat..it is not a human sound, but that of an animal's.
I look down at me and see, and feel my fresh to have become that of a prehistoric raptor!
As I see, feel my transformation in awe, the DREAM BREAKS!

Anyone have an idea what is behind this nightmare???

Excellent clues, ann and kitty! I had not thought of my ex-mother inlaw being of influence in this dream, even though she was RIGHT THERE in a history of emotional Abuse. And yes the consequences of my final declaration against the abuse are FAR MORE and VERY FRIGHTENING as to that creature I became: A voracious, enraged raptor!
And Ann there is much more that even you have awakened as to this nightmare...but you have as they say: "hit the nail RIGHT on the head".

Dear Destiny, My mother in-law is dead. I married f her second son at age 19. I did not know she had expected him to care FOREVER AFTER for her. So I married not knowing the opposition which accompanied the marriage. The creature I turned into in the nightmare, in a way keeps vigil over me today...for I have lost trust of many people. Unless they are telling me the absolute truth I cut them out of my life. That since brutal to them, but I've grown tired of lies.How are you Destiny? You always sound like such a likable person. I notice the "thumbs down" enthusiast, has returned to haunt. I hope he's getting a high from anonymity which doesn't mean anything when it is negatively directed!...some things never change!
It makes sense to me R.M.G., but to agree so readily, may place me into the category of wanting or seeming to be better than some people would like-so I'll just say that I try to do my best in order to maintain my own integrity is as intact as can be-though it's by Far NOT perfect; for I'm human.I do have a sense of right and wrong, and if wrong my conscience gnaws at me to the point where there results much suffering-that's far from the harmony, peace, and simplicity of living, being which I seek.
My ONE most aggravating, corrosive problem which I face at present, is the presence of the "captor" in me.The creature of prehistoric leathered skinned and ravenous tendency to not trust as easily as I once was able.I'm happy that through You People, I've discovered IT, lurking in me BEYOND the woken state-and has manifested from great necessity of healing, into this nightmare of this morning.
