Afternoon Tea Party Invitation

When I think of jazzy attire the first thing that comes to me is like a flapper dress. But I could be totally wrong. I would just ask people you know who are going and ask what they are going to wear.

My daughter will be 2 on Saturday and I just wanted to make some little invitations to invite her grandparents, uncles aunties etc over for a little party tea.

I aked my hubby what I could write on the front of the invitation but he said 'nothing, leave it blank'

Can anyone think of anything witty that will go with the theme of Tinkerbell, her age is 2 and its just for a little afternoon tea. Her name is Courtney.

Hi. My daughter is one in a few weeks and I am just about to send out her birthday party invitations. We are having an afternoon tea with mostly family and a few friends. I know family will all bring presents. How do I word for our friends' invitation that presents are optional. I just feel that people are always forking out for gifts in the first year of a babys' life (birth, Baptism etc.). I do know that if they want to bring a gift they will but I just don't want them to feel obligated. In advance, thanks!

I would not mention it at all. Friends and family will usually bring presents to a birthday party. I dont think you should add any clause at all.

People who dont want to bring presents will not.

Dont worry about receiving them, its your litltle girls birthday, enjoy.
