we're having a birthday party for my mom and its mardi gras theme but i need some wording for the invitations. does anyone know of any sites that give sample wording for spanish invitations?
Go to stores selling birthday cards. There should be some birhtday cards written in Spanish.

I am hosting a surprise party for my husband, and I would really like it to be adults only, the problem is we have a family FULL of children. How do I politely word this on the invite? I don't want to put "adults only" Any other ideas???
Can the people you're inviting easily attend without their children? If so, I see no problem with putting straight-forwardly on the invites that it's grown-ups only.
If the people (or some of the people) you're inviting cannot easily attend without their children, then maybe a friend or relative would host a kids' party at the same time. You could coordinate the invites so that people realize that their needs are being taken into consideration as well.

Gay porn star Brent Corrigan is available for birthday parties and fashion shows, but an attempt to book him for Yale’s Pride Month fell through.
Sean Lockhart, a well-known star in the adult entertainment industry who goes by the stage name “Brent Corrigan,” lambasted Yale students and faculty on his blog for rescinding his invitation to visit campus. Though Lockhart claimed on his blog that Yale faculty did not let him come to campus because they did not find him “appropriate,” Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trangender Cooperative Coordinator Alejandro Bustillos ’11 said the decision not to bring Lockhart to Yale was made for a variety of reasons, including an already-overbooked calendar of events. An organizer of Pride Month added that Lockhart could only come to campus one day, and planners could not find a suitable “forum” for him to take part in that day.
