Adult Birthday Card

I would like a citizen card so I can have ID.
My 18th birthday is next Friday (22nd). I read up on the card and it said to allow 21 days for it to arrive...
What I want to know is if I apply in the next few days will I get an adult one when it arrives? Like will it say 18 ?

No my brother done that same thing when he was nar his 18th birthday and his said in the box bit "18 on the 21st Nov 2004", but i wouldnt really worry because when you get one whoever your showing it to will see that the date is after 22nd august 2008.

in my family only children get gifts and cards and adults just a phone call and card. its just nice to do and it takes but 5 minutes to goto the store and get a card.

I went into an adult shop, but all they had were cartoon cards. I remember getting a really raunchy picture birthday card once when 20 or so.

Adult Birthday Tiaras

basically its an adults birthday party and i will bring a card and bottle of wine or something simular as i always do, my mum on the other hand does not, she says its enough that u,ve made the effort to come, im not material at all but find it good manners.

It is considered bad manners to come empty-handed as if the birthday boy/girl should be grateful to your royal highness for lowering yourself so far as to come to their miserable party. Does your mother expect them to bow and grovel as she makes her grand entrance? How self-centered and rude of her!
A card and bottle of wine is appropriate for a gentleman while a card and a modest box of chocolates would be proper for a lady. Of course, ladies appreciate good wine, too...you choose what you think appropriate.
