1st Birthday Photo Album

Ok, so my son is about to be a 1 year old. I'm doing a photo album for each year of his life. Should his first birthday pics be included in "Ryan's 1st year" at the end...or in "Ryan - Age 1" at the beginning? And same for his following birthdays.....hope this makes sense...

I did/am doing this for all my kids. As infants, I made each page a month. The last page was their first birthday party. I then moved onto to another photo album book. The second book started the month after their first birthday and ended with their second birthday. In the corner of that last page was a picture of them on their first birthday, so you could see how much they had grown over the year.
I'd put his birthday as the last page and label the photo album, "Ryan's First Year".
I stopped these photobooks with the first day of kindergarten. It got to be too much after that, though I wish I kept doing it.

his birthday is in 2 days and although he'd rather not celebrate it i want to do something nice for him. i've already ordered a rather expensive gift for him, but unfortunately i wont get it in time for his birthday, so i need ideas of something cheap but meaningful that i could give him on his birthday. please note that i don't need sexy ideas and i already made a photo album for our 1 year anniversary a couple months ago.

Kids Birthday Gifts

there are no other children there and about10 guests, not including me and my fiance. so how do i entertain the adults?

i'm putting on children's music for my baby boy, so no adult music. and no games cause he doesnt play games. i'm going to set out a photo album so everyone can look at it, but no real plans. very infomral, no invites; rather, i told people when to come over.

ideas? or not that important.
i doubt this matters, but the whole theme is BABY SESAME STREET. totally cute!

With my kids birthdays, there are never games or anything, I always make sure there is food and cake for them to eat. When people eat they socialize and that is there entertainment! Then they can watch baby open his presents before cutting the cake, this is entertainment all in its self!
