Wedding Greeting Cards

My husband and I recieved so many beautiful cards for our wedding and I want to do something creative with them. It seems wrong to just put them in a box in the closet. They might be too much for scrapbook. I don't know. Is there any psuedo Martha Stewart's that can help me?

There are sooo many things you can do. Just to name a few...you could make them into a collage you can frame for maybe a piece of art in a guest room. You can make a quilt (that will hang on the wall with little vinyl pockets to slide them in and out if you don't want to destroy them. You can also frame them all and make a huge wall art piece. You can tack them down to a table top and put a large piece of glass on top (this is something you can change out). You can border a room with them. You can scan them and print them onto fabric and make anything with them...maybe a bulletin board? Keep going from there and you will figure it out.

Any pointers to good websites with ideas for creating my own wedding cards?

Most of the creations I've made start looking like something I've seen before then take a whole different twist with the likes/dislikes of the bride.

Do they use like a press to get indentations, and fancy cut outs?

i need to know how people make cards... i think i know what printer to use, but cant get my head round the actual details.. e.g how to put a rose on the card but actually feels it sticks out (uneven)
stephen you couldnt tell me what the actual machines are... (brand, cost, etc) ;)

The effect of a 3D image is produced by an indentation. Basically:

1) the image of the rose is printed onto the card.
2) a metal stencil the exact shape of the rose is made.
3) at a very high force, the metal stencil is stamped behind the image of the rose.

The rose (and other details) is printed and then stamped on from behind.

Is there a place on the internet that have
a greeting card program?

Walmart, Hallmark, Kmart, just about any department store.
You can also find them on line and have them printed for you.
