How can I send a seasons greetings card from Hangzhou, China to Washington DC, USA??
Christmas Cards

What kind of stamps do I need? How many?
What is the fastest and safest way for it to be sent?
About how much would it cost?
thanx

Go to any Chinese Post office near your place. They have lots of stamps there. It should be the same as the local stamps just more pieces to be attached.

Trick-r-Treat: Season's Greetings - animated short

An animated short by director Michael Dougherty that inspired his movie "Trick-r-Treat."

Where can i get greeting cards for Saturnalia, or perhaps other pagan "seasons greetings" cards?

i don't get offended unless i know for certain someone is trying to be offensive. i am tired of getting all these uber-Christian greeting cards from my folks year after year...they know i don't believe what they do, yet each year they ramp up the religiosity of their mail. i am dead serious, every year they get me "worship Jesus" cards...so i intend to give cards intended to equally annoy this year.
and why shouldn't i be tyria? if someone kept shoving your face in something year after year (Islam lets say) wouldn't you want to send the message "stop" since asking doesn't seem to work. judge not, sweetie. oh, and merry christmas and happy new year.

i don't think you understand. perhaps you live in a bubble, and have never see or experienced religious persecution or discrimination. but the fact is, everyone has a right to air their religious beliefs, whether you think to do so is childish or not. personally, i define getting so worked up over a joke made by a stranger to be much more childish, but to each his own.
tirya -
i see you overlooked the joke part. grats on being a witch. however, i would have mistaken you for another word, which rhymes with witch. maybe you will find this joke "childish" enough for you? perhaps you would like to spout some more judgment or condemnation? i eagerly await your next hissy fit. maybe if you would allow email we could do this there - but i guess you got tired of the hate mail from being such a prick to others. i understand.

Luckily, you're not the only one who feels this way. I am constantly looking for Pagan comebacks to all the stupid "prayer" emails I get!!!

What kind of text on season's greetings cards?

I hope, someone can help me. English isn't my mothertongue but I would like to send a season's greetings card to my friend in the UK. But I don't know what kind of text to write in there in English. Can I only write: Season's geetings from xxx or do I have to write more? I never wrote a season's greeting card in English. Thank you very much for helping me!

yes, you can keep it simple and write "season's greetings from xxx". if you want to be more specific about your friends religious associations with the holidays you can say merry christmas, or happy hannukah, or whatever else! also, if you know this person well enough, a little personal message would be thoughtful, you might as well write something else in the card if you are sending it all the way to the UK.

Is it rude to send a Jehova Witness friend a "Seasons Greetings" card?

The cover is beautiful teal with snow and pine cones and on the inside it says:

"With warm thoughts of you and wishes for happiness now and throughout the coming year"

What do you think.....??? BTW she lives a few states away...we both grew up together and we are now in our late 20's....thx

As an ex Jehovah's Witness, I can assure you that it would be fine. The only objectionable cards would be the ones that have, say, Santa Claus or something about holiday wishes.

What you've chosen should be just fine, and more than likely will be greatly appreciated. Especially given the fact that you seem to have taken some time in choosing just the right card. Very thoughtful!

Grammatically, What is right? Season's Greetings? or Seasons Greetings?

I'm confused if the one with apostrophe is right. When I google some greetings cards, some has apostrophe some hasn't. What is right? Thanks!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Season's Greetings.

Although the other one could be right in the following sentence:

"Karen sprinkled cinnamon and nutmeg into each envelope. She always seasons greetings."
