I blame Hallmark greeting cards and mushy romance films lol

Often times love causes our heart to beat faster or maybe even sometimes skip a beat so to speak. This is why people often associate their heart with the loving feelings that they may have.

Hii,
I am looking for some sarcastic lines to write in a birthday greeting card meant for a girl who's turning 29 in a couple of days. Please write as much as possible. I'd prefer some sarcastic humour or what some people call cocky comedy. you can also give me some links if you know some sites about sarcastic humour. I dont mind a touch of romance in that but not the 'wuss' type please. thanks.

or is it just an invention from the candy, greeting card, and romance novel industry? Everything nowadays seems so commercialized, is "The One" a product being sold to us by big business?

I think each person has an indeterminate number of people with whom they could fall in love and live "happily ever after." All you have to do is find one of them. Of course, if you somehow lose the one you've found, there's always hope that you'll run into another. :o)

I try to be creative in my romance with my wife. I just want some fresh ideas. I do the flowers/greeting cards, long walks, sexy -emails, but I want something out of the ordinary. Help me out here. Thanks

The best thing I did for my husband he still talks about and I did it over 10 years ago...
I sent him on a little scavenger hunt around our city. I left little puzzle clues and it would send him to places that we frequented, (Video store, pizza place, his friends house, even his office) Every place I went to and asked if they would hand a card to him though it was the best thing and they were all for it.
The last place he went to was a hotel. When he got there, the girl at check in gave him the last card & I was waiting for him in the bar. After a drink, I led him to our suite where I had rose peddles in the jacuzzi, candles all around, champagne, and clothes for the weekend that I packed for him. We went to dinner & a show that night and had a GREAT time the rest of the weekend.

A long time ago, before people knew what the heart was really used for, it came to be associated with strong emotion. Whenever you feel strong emotion, there's a sensation on the left side of the chest. We now know that sensation is actually caused by chemicals in the brain. Back then, people didn't know that. They just assumed that the heart controlled emotion. Even know we know better now, the old associations still stick with us, as they have become so ingrained in our culture.
