Recordable Greeting Cards

I'm looking for the audio components that make a recordable greeting card work- any ideas where I can find them? I need 15-30 seconds of recording time for an art exhibit. I've looked all over ebay and on google, but am coming up with nothing. I could use the cards and disassemble them, but I can't even find the cards for sale. I want to spend about $5 a piece for 5 of them (I found pens with voice recorders for $5 a piece that I could potentially use, but would prefer the flat set up of a greeting card). Thank you!

They only have 3, and your looking for five, but its a good start, and you could ask to see if they have the flat recordable parts. Goodluck!

I'm looking to see if i can find an addition (storage?) device to go with a recordable greeting card that will allow it to record longer then 10secs worth of sound.

You have to make assumption, first that the recorder chip uses or can use external memory, that that chip is available, they have the connections available, and if you do add one, it will recognize the capacity, or you can externally program it to.

I would conservatively make the assumption that the above assumptions are false, that it is one chip hard coded for its in-built capacity, and of die-on-board manufacture, where pins may not be available for expansion, even if you can expand the chip used..

I know Hallmark sells cards that allow you to record for 10 seconds but then play a song immediately after. Is there anyplace I can find a card that allows me to record for however long, but without any song or music after?

A couple of christmases ago at Hallmark I did see the ones that only record, but I haven't checked since.

I know Hallmark released the recordable greeting cards lately. But they have music right after the message. I would like to know where to get greeting cards where you can just record a message, no music with the cards.

i want a plain white card that plays a sound clip that i recorded myself when its opened.
hallmark doesnt have blank ones.

They come in cream or red and you can add your own photo or graphic as well.
