What is the best paper for printing photo greeting cards?

Hey again everyone,

I just bought my first photo printer (a Canon) and I'm starting a greeting card company with my photography. Could anyone give me advice as to the best quality paper for printing greeting cards? I tried the Avery card paper..but it is WAY to thin..any help would be great!

Thanks!:)

I gotta tell you if you making Greeting Cards from a home printer with dye ink you are doing a disservice to your customer and your reputation.

Look for printer paper that is 150 lbs or better and is made from 100% cotton. Those should be high quality and stiff enough to do what you want to do.

What is the best quality paper for greeting cards?

See .. i want to print a Digital photo on a greeting card but i dont know what is the best kind of paper to do that and to keep the quality of the photo plz help

Several companies make greeting card paper. They come in sets with the envelopes. i have some here made by Avery, and the quality is fine for making your own card to send to friends or family. You can probably find such kits at your local big box office store or department store. There are professional paper companies as well, more pricey. Google printer paper and see what you find.

What's the best printer to print photo quality greeting cards in terms of speed, cost and quality.?

I am a photographer and sell my images digitally online. I've been considering about design, print and distribute my own photo greeting cards in local shops. What's the best printer to use for low volume (up to 1000) prints, if u know where to get supply like paper and etc that would be awesome. Thanks.

I have an HP all in one. I think that that printer falls in an affordable yet high quality price range. Many store owners and clerks also usually prefer that brand for printing photos in a high quality.
You can get printer paper and other supplies anywhere in stores such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc...
Hope that helps!

Looking for Printer that can provide press printed holiday cards?

I just started my own photography business and I am looking for a printing company that could provide the following:

1) "traditional" photo greeting cards on photo paper (like the ones they sell at Sam's Club, Walgreen's, etc)

2) Press printed folded holiday cards

3) No-fold holiday cards (press printed) where I can put photos on the front and back.

I want to be able to put templates on my website so that my customers can choose.

Thanks!

Usually any printing company can supply such services as long as they have offset presses.

There are two such companies within ten minutes from my office.
