What is that musical thingy in birthday cards called?

I'm talking about the little device that you find in the folding greeting cards that play music when you open them. All you can actually see of them is a little white tab. I need to know exactly what they are called so I can get the specs on them for an engeneering/marketing project. Thanks.

How many stamps will I need to mail a musical greeting card?

I'm sending a birthday card in the mail today. The envelope says "
extra postage required" It's a square card, the ones that play music. Will 2 stamps be enough?


These musical greeting cards are considered ‘non-machineable.’

There is a 20-cent 'non -machineable surcharge.'

If the letter weighs more than one ounce but two ounces or less, it is an extra 17 cents for the extra ounce, not 44 cents.

Add it up and you have 81 cents.

Don’t have the lower denomination stamps that equal 81 cents? Then just use two 44 stamps or two Forever stamps totaling 88 cents and you’re good ‘to go.’

Where can I find Birthday Invitations that play music?

I am having a carnival for my sons 6th birthday. I would love to find a birthday invitation (paper card) that when you open it, it will play circus music. The same kind of musical greeting card you find at hallmark. I just cant find any invitations just greeting cards....any suggestions?

2 Stamps should be more than enough. The reason why it says "extra postage required" is probably because the music mechanism makes it heavier than an average card.
