It doesn't really affect me one way or another. It's all a marketing ploy. It's all about the money. They're a big corporation - of course they're going to go after this market.

I tend to use Anniversary Cards most often. Just because to me, it's such an achievement nowadays for anyone to stay together. It's a big deal.

First, there is a guy I know, he is 28 years old, a Nurse Practitioner AND Register Respiratory Therapist, he works in an ER, makes alot of money... Also, he is very attractive, female patients always seem to hit on him. His fiancee is this 24 year old woman, she is fat, unattractive, and works as a manager at a retail shop that sells greeting cards and doesn't even have a college degree. They have been dating for about two years now.. What if they want to have children together?? How can this marriage be legally blocked?

I think you have a weird way of seeing things.

Do you want this man or something ? Why do you know so much about them ?

Marriages can't be blocked.

Just because one has a good job and one does not does not mean they don't deserve happiness.

And what does weight and a college degree have to do with finding love ?

It sounds like they love each other. What is wrong with that ?

This is what I am expected to do:
The task here is to use the analytical tool of gender to examine a product / event / activity in our world. Toys, toy stores and catalogues, clothing catalogues, music videos, video or computer games, greeting cards (baby, marriage, wedding, kids birthdays) beauty product advertising, commercials, tv shows (for adults or kids), popular music, Disney movies, – how is gender evident and reproduced in these everyday elements of our lives?

Someone is using fashion magazines, someone is using a disney movie, and another one is using brats dolls. They are going to show in the magazine and on the dolls who the wording shows how these products are show common characteristics related to the female or male gender.

If you will go for a consumer durable product, you will never be able to find a product which is of use of any particular gender. For example, Scooty is meant for girls only, but I've seen boys also riding scooty.

The only option we are left with is to consider FMCG/CPG category. In this category also many products are becoming gender neutral. But even then many products has still boundaries (kindly note, we should not consider exceptional cases). For example, ladies bags and wallets are different from gents wallets. Ladies sandles are different from gents sandles. Undies are different from gents' undergarments.
