Can someone help me think of a clever saying for my holiday photo greeting cards?

The photo is of our two daughters with our newest additions, two Shih-tzus named Snoopy and Nugget. They are all posing in front of our decorated Christmas tree near the fireplace. Some of the photos are traditional while others are silly, like in one photo the dogs are licking the whip cream out of their cocoa mugs and the girls were laughing hysterically. It looks real cute! Any suggestions on a cute greeting to add to the card would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

holiday greeting cards with kids post-divorce?

I am not quite finding this answer in Emily Post, so I thought I would ask opinions here!

I finalized my amicable divorce in July. Last year at this time, we separated after I asked him to move out. We were married for ten years, and each year I sent holiday cards to a long list of friends and family. After having children, I sent out photo holiday cards with either a portrait of the whole family or of just the kids. Because I had already ordered the cards at the time of our split last year, I went ahead and sent them out with all of our names.

This year, I am totally divorced but I still wanted to send out photo cards to friends and family. However, I am wondering if it would seem weird or tacky since my ex husbands name is noticeably absent this year. Like, "Hey, we're a party of 3 now, we kicked him outta here!" Even though I still offer my unconditional love and friendship to my ex and he usually does the same for me, it's not as though he's out of our lives. I know my ex won't be sending out cards probably until he is re-married to someone, so is it inappropriate to send cards to families who are technically his friends? They know me so well and our children have played together numerous times over the years.

Has anyone else had to make this silly holiday card decision post divorce with kids? I am torn between a photo card with the 2 kids only, a non photo card with all three of our names, or just sending cards to family and limited friends. Or just saying forget it this year!

Help?
kiss this: ouch! :)
darcy: hey! that was just some deadpan humor, I wasn't going to actually say that!
to the rest: thanks for the affirmations, that's about the best I can do.

My now ex took off and abandoned my two kids and me three years ago. He left the month before Christmas. I still wrote the family newsletter and sent a family photo of the kids and me (it was also my daughters first Christmas). Within the newsletter I talked about the kids and what I had been up to during the course of the year. Did not mention the ex at all. I sent the newsletter and photo to all who had received it in the past even friends who knew him. Those who were curious asked about him and I politely told them that he was back in his home country. It is okay to still send out a photo and card.

Christmas Cards and NYC, Where to Take Photo?

My husband and I will be visiting NYC this year for the first time in early December. My questions is, where is the best place to take a picture for our holiday greeting cards? I want it to be obvious we're in New York City. Since I have never been, I don't know what will look good in photos.

I know some people hate photo greeting cards, but we love sending and receiving them. I like seeing updated photos of my distant friends and family every year.

Thanks in advance!

The tree (and skating rink) at Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall. The giant snowflake at 5th Avenue and 57th Street. The "Human Christmas Tree" of carolers at the South Street Seaport. Central Park. The Empire State Building at night, lit up for Christmas with green and red lights. Holiday windows at Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, etc.

Looking for Printer that can provide press printed holiday cards?

I just started my own photography business and I am looking for a printing company that could provide the following:

1) "traditional" photo greeting cards on photo paper (like the ones they sell at Sam's Club, Walgreen's, etc)

2) Press printed folded holiday cards

3) No-fold holiday cards (press printed) where I can put photos on the front and back.

I want to be able to put templates on my website so that my customers can choose.

Thanks!

Usually any printing company can supply such services as long as they have offset presses.

There are two such companies within ten minutes from my office.
