I am interested in selling my handmade greeting cards online. Any suggestions? I've looked at etsy.com; but they charge a fee.
The best venues for handmade cards are in craft fairs and local shops. A craft fair will charge a table fee. A local shop might take them on consignment at no charge.

how would i publish and copyright my stuff? how would i reproduce handmade cards?
If it is a cottage business, you should begin by selling your cards to local stores, Conventin & Visitor's Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and anywhere in your city that is locally owned. You will need to provide racks as well as a supply of cards and envelopes. I would start first with selling the cards to friends and relatives. See how much time and expense you have so you will know what to charge to make a profit.

I make homemade cards,
I have close to 200 just sitting around. I used to do craft shows, but I am not planning on doing any more.
Are their any organizations where you can send cards to soldiers, or elders, or ill children?
I have spent about a half hour searching on google, and have not come up with anything yet.
Links to websites would be best!
thanks for your time!
Forget websites! Phone a local seniors' residence or two. See if they would like the cards. Some of these places have gift shops where the residents buy things to use or to give. These would be perfect for one of those. Offer to deliver them. Make sure they know the cards are unused.
You might also try phoning a local charity or non-profit. They sometimes have sales. See if they would like some to sell or even to use. The non-profit I work for is often looking for nice cards to send to our supporters. I'm sure one in your area would be glad to use some of these cards.
We are making Mother's Day cards next Sunday in church and I was wondering if there is something out there that can be sprayed on paper that gives a light glittery effect. Something that is not messy and won't rub off. I can spray the paper before the children color them. Any ideas? THANKS!
I have bought Krylon Paper Finishes Glitter Spray at craft stores. (Michael's and Hobby Lobby to be specific)

Not only could most people not read or write, but the hand-decorated, handmade cards were too expensive for even literate commoners. Mass produced greeting cards, like we see today, were introduced in the late 1800s, when stationery companies hired popular artists of the day to design and illustrate their cards. It is almost a requirement today to send out greeting cards for birthdays, Christmas, New Year, Mothers and Fathers Day,...
