Greeting Postcards

I'm a keen amateur photographer and I personally feel my material is of a marketable quality, but don't know how to go about it.
What's the best way to start earning a few extra bob from my photography?
Antoni, Artistic flair is not a problem. I'm a classically trained artist with a background in book illustration, so I have <i>the eye</i>.

Pop into your local library or bookshop and browse through the Artists & Writers Yearbook. There should be a whole list of greeting card publishers and agencies to approach in there. You could also try this site:

There are often opportunities for photographers and, all in all, this is an extremely informative site for anyone in the visual arts. Follow up any photographic competitions which are advertised. If your national TV channel puts out a call for 'viewer's photographs', make sure yours are there! Take every 'chance' available; keep at it; never give up!

What website lets me do that? I need for them to be printed and boxed.

A local printer could do the job - price shop on line if the local guys are too high. Check with a local office supply store to get them reproduced - then package them in clear bags. A friend prints and sells her own to the local Real Estate offices. The agents use them as thank you presents to home buyers. The pictures are all local land marks and sites.

how will I find enough companys to distribute the images that I could sell and where. I have digital images that are ready to go.

You can find a guide at your local library or thru Hamilton Booksellers, called "The Illustrators Market"--ask your librarian, they'll be glad to help.

have you done? Describe several if you have the time and would llike to.

I have! I also like scrapbooking. I use pretty paper, glitter,ribbons,stickers and different colored pens.
