Greeting Cards With Sound

I see alot of sound greeting cards from the stores and I sometimes dance to it. I bought some to mail to my sisters' birthday coming up soon.
Do you like them? why or why not? Be descriptive in your response.
My sisters are adults. Yeah I have to agree to never send it to a child.

theyre just really fun and it puts a smile on your face everytime you hear it
and it can brighten your day if you get one.
i love them. maybe its cus not all cards are like that and it makes them special? hahaa

What are some songs that I could get and where could I get the cards?

I don't know about what kind of songs you can get, but I have seen this type of cards at the Hallmark stores and Walmart.

I have never bought one, though.

I'm looking to see if i can find an addition (storage?) device to go with a recordable greeting card that will allow it to record longer then 10secs worth of sound.

You have to make assumption, first that the recorder chip uses or can use external memory, that that chip is available, they have the connections available, and if you do add one, it will recognize the capacity, or you can externally program it to.

I would conservatively make the assumption that the above assumptions are false, that it is one chip hard coded for its in-built capacity, and of die-on-board manufacture, where pins may not be available for expansion, even if you can expand the chip used..
