Any ideas for Christmas greeting cards?

I know I'm early, but I wanna make unique cards for all of my friend, so everyone of them will have different greeting card. Any ideas or maybe sites where I can find them??

Use CropMom.com to create your greeting cards for Christmas. You can even add photos of your friends or family on the cards.

CropMom is free to use and has a lot of quality digital scrapbook graphics. The Christmas graphics, Home for the Holidays, is gorgeous. But you can mix and match other graphics from CropMom's digital scrapbook kits.

Then, after you're finished, purchase the high-resolution JPEG files of your layouts for a small fee. You can print the high-resolution JPEG files on your home printer, or you can have them printed by a photofinisher, such as Snapfish or Shutterfly. The results will be amazing.

What do I do to get my greeting card ideas published?

I am a poet and writer. I have many beautiful pieces I would like to incorporate into greeting cards. They are complete with my own art and pictures to go with them. How do I do it and who do I contact to get started.

Contact those companies that publish greeting cards. Look on the back of one of those cards for the name, and sometimes the address. Send them a query letter and ask them about their submission guidelines. Along with your letter, encluse a self addressed, stamped envelope. They will use this to send back their response. DO NOT send them any samples or portfolio until you have read and understand these submission guidelines. Nothing gets tossed into the trash faster than a submission from someone who can't follow simple directions.

A book, titled Artists Market, and another called Writers Market will give you a substantial list of publishers, agencies and studios that often accept unsolicited submissions. Get the most recent issue you can find. These books will give you the actual contact name of the person you should submitt to and ask questions about. The book is a GREAT way to target your market to the kinds of card publishers most likely to accept your work. No point in wasting time and postage sending your poetic, beautiful pieces to a publisher that specializes in humorous and gag cards. No point in sending samples with overt religious content to one that doesn't do those.

Ideas for making your own greeting cards?

I need ideas on making my own greeting cards (birthday cards, holiday cards etc.) I want to also use my own art on the cards. What is an easy and cheap way to make greeting cards? What type of materials etc. And also, do you have any ideas for Valentine's day cards? Thank you in advance!

Not long ago I signed up for a Hallmark Crown card and I subscribed to Current's catalog. Both of these card companies send me catalogs all year round and I get tons of great ideas from them! Even the trip to your local card shop, Target or Walmart aisle will lead you to hundreds of ideas. Sometimes I spot a word or a phrase that kick off an idea for example "How do I love you? Let me count the ways..." I thought of using a monkey on the front, then on the inside it would read: 1 banana, 2 banana, 3 banana, 4 and so on... Greeting cards are wonderful being that they are so catchy and creative. You can really have fun! I am working on a post for my website [erikhomemade.typepad.com] (it's almost done except for the photos) where we used an origami elephant stuck to the front. On the inside it says: Don't forget! But you could say: See, I remembered, or something...
For more ideas, try Hallmark.com or Current.com For my cards and the cards we will be using for the website Card of the Month, I like to use cardstock or ready made cardstock cards. Nothing is worse than a flimsy card...even though it's the thought that counts, it is also a reflection on you and often people like to save handmade cards. As far as materials go, the sky is the limit! I am in a mood for recycled materials-old newspaper, wrapping paper, etc. People really like to see what you can make from very little or nothing.
Look around! Good Luck Happy Girl, and HAVE FUN!

Does anyone know a company that accept greeting cards idea?

I have a great idea for a greeting card. Hallmark , American Greeting have their own people.

A lot of companies will take a look at your ideas, but you need to contact the right company for your style of design/ideas. Visit www.paper-rose.co.uk, they have a page giving you info on sending in designs to them. For playful, naughty cards try: blue banana email: info@bluebananacards.com Try searching for greeting card publishers on google, most websites will have a page telling you if they accept ideas and what they are looking for.
