I need a template to hand-make a greeting card holder out of paper.?

I made some regular sized personalized greeting cards for my friend's birthday and now I want to mail them to her in a tiny paper box-like holder. Where can I get a template for that?

Try www.mirkwood designs.com
They have all kinds of templates.

Decorative Greeting Card Holder - Part 1 of 3

Rubber Stamping Paper Crafting Technique Tutorial

does anyone know where I can get a greeting card holder, not online?

I really want to get a card holder/organizer for my mom. She just saw mine and loves it. I ordered mine from southern living, so I don't have time for ordering. I looked all over today. Dilliard's, JCPenney, Target. Has anyone seen one lately? I know I've seen a tabletop one, but can't remember where. I haven't tried TJMaxx. I think I'll go there tomorrow, but wondering if anyone knows for sure. Either a wall hanging one or table top one will do.
Thanks.

however you can order one online and ship over night for the extra dollar?

Are people who drive SUVs brain damaged?

First off, I'll excuse people who need to tow a boat or do real off-roading for fun. People who live in Alaska - you're excused too.

My gripe is with soccer moms and commuters that use these things day to day.

So you pay close to $100 at the pump to fill up.
In most cases, you pay over $30K for the vehicle.
You get 4 seats and a trunk like a sedan.
Most of these are NOT EVEN 4WD!!!
WHAT IS THE POINT IN THAT?

Don't brag about that third row seat, because in order to reach it, you have to leap frog over the person sitting in the second row and applogize for smacking them in the forehead with your balls.
Of course, the thing is so narrow that you then have to sit on the edge of it like you're on a public toilet.

Then when that third row is up, your trunk basically becomes a greeting card holder. Don't try to fit one of those big wedding invites in there either. No, it's got to be a small thank-you note or nothing at all.

So were you dropped on your head or what?
Oh yeah, I forgot about the ENORMOUS cost of new tires for the things

And the fact that they are DANGEROUS because they all have a tipover risk due to a high CG.

Hey. I don't care if you buy them or not. Makes it easier for me to spot stupid people.
Johannes doesn't even know what an SUV is.
Hate to break it to you man, but you have a car made to look like an SUV.

As far as minivans go - Practial. 2 sliding doors, one big hatch, seats 7 and mine gets 25 MPG. You can't say that about ANY SUV or SUV wannabe.

WONDER WHY GAS IS $3.30 / GALLON???
supply and demand and these are the fools creating all the uneccessary demand.
BTW, I own a truck 1/2 ton, big V8, 13 MPG. Hauls my toys and comes in handy for trips to Home Depot.

Try putting a dirt bike in the back of an SUV or hauling 4x8 boards in it.

But it is exactly that, a recreational / utility vehicle. I'm not dumb enough to use it for everyday driving.

I think SUVs are completely wasteful (especially the Ford Excursion [seriously, who needs THAT much room?] and the Hummer). They are expensive, they're known for rolling over when taking sharp turns, and you know what--I've YET to see one (especially the 4WD models) that look like they've even been anywhere NEAR mud/offroad areas.

What kills me the most are Land Rovers and that little Mercedes (can't remember the model name, but it looks like a Land Rover) that you see executive business men (usually) driving. Dude, when was the last time you had that heap of gas guzzling metal in the outback of Australia or the deserts of Kenya? Seriously, you look retarded driving down GA 400 on your way to your office in Atlanta!

It's all about a status symbol for most of these people. The soccer moms are even crazier. I don't notice many of them in the higher end/more expensive SUVs, but seriously--they have ONE kid and immediately rush out to buy a SUV or a minivan. What was possibly wrong with your 2 year old, four door Honda Accord?

I wish station wagons would come back into fashion. Seriously, I want an old, sturdy-as-a-tank, diesel Mercedes station wagon. They rock!!

So you just bought a gift card for someone....?

you've spent over $50 on it. do you:

a) give it to the recipient in the paper backing it's attached to already?

b) stick it in a greeting card?

c) go online to find a unique, stylish gift card holder to give the person more of a present instead of just the gift card?

d) insert your own response

B :)

A gift idea, what do you guys think?

Hello :) hope everyone is having a nice evening.

Ok here's my idea... at the moment I'm making and selling my own candles and massage oils. I've been hatching a plan to offer my candles personalised as I have a good printer and enjoy designing my labels as much as the candles!

So people could say order a load when they've had a baby and I send them out as a birth announcement in place of the typical card. Or people could order a candle welcoming the baby and I send it to the parents.

I could also do wedding candles and birthday, even Christmas ones where they are a nice Christmas scent and a nice label wishing the person (named) a Merry Christmas.

Do I even make sense? I'm so excited lol My candles cost £3 and come in a nice glass holder ready to burn. Some greeting cards are costing this much now and I just think it'd be nice to send a candle which would have all the same greeting on it and have a fabby smell too!

So what do you guys think? Out of space, bah......
This is an example of what I'm thinking of....

for the lady who doesn't like flowery smells... most of my smells are food based lol My fave is Almond mmmm

Oh and for the gorgeous person who wanted to know where to buy them, I'm hoping to have my website up by next weekend...

  • THANK YOU Greeting Cards | 99designs

Thank you for all your entries but I think we are moving away from what we really need. The designs are getting too ornate and busy. That might be something we will consider for backup but primary need is a card that is more bold and male oriented. Do not want a card with just a great font and plain red or white background, there has to be something more to it. Also not too much gradient use and glows. Try using sold colors. Will consider both a card with red background and one with white background.
