Greeting Cards Envelopes

Hi, I'm creating greeting cards to sell to promote my artwork and am looking for card stock, envelopes and possibly a small amount of plastic sleeves to protect them in (but Ideally not using plastic). Does anyone know of any companies who offer this or places where I can find it in Australia (preferably Qld)? thanks in advance.

i don't know of anywhere in Australia, but cardblanks.com has the sleeves and envelopemall.com is great for envelopes.

I ordered my holiday cards online and they didn't send me enough envelopes. I'm sure they would send me the rest if I called but I was hoping to just go buy some so that I can get them addressed. Is there some place to buy envelopes for greeting cards? Thanks!

Post office, office supplies, newsagents quite often, any shop supplying special cards such as wedding cards, sometimes craft shops.

Target and Walmart both carry them as do most craft stores and some fabric stores. (Michael's and JoAnn's) Nearly anywhere with either a craft department or a wedding department. These will be your most affordable options, but their selection will be limited.

You might also consider an office supply such as Staples or Office Depot. Some communities also have great printing supply stores such as Kelly Papers. These stores are generally open to the public and will have a much larger selection than the others mentioned.

Another option if you want an online venue would be Paper Direct.

I print my own cards and I buy the card stock to print them on...which does not come with envelopes. I've tried printing the envelopes but then I have to cut them out and glue them together and it's just too much trouble. Can't I just buy the envelopes?

Office Depot, Staples, or any other stationery store.

Make sure you know what size you need. If you fold a regular 8-1/2x11 sheet of paper in half, then in half again at a right angle, you will end up with a 4-1/4x5-1/2 card. An A2 envelope is the size you need for this (4-3/8x5-3/4).

I received by mail some really, really nice see thru envelopes and blank card stock paper already perforated in the middle to make my own cards, And I would love to be able to find some more. The envelope colors were example: red, violet, purple, tan, brown, white etc. They were see thru I cannot explain the type of paper they were made of but really nice!!

Don't know where to find them, but search for vellum envelopes. Those are the translucent ones.
