Greeting Cards Display

So many greeting cards, but they are encouraging to read and i would like to display them in a pretty way. Any idea's?

Get some board or a cork poster board and take some elastic and criss cross the elastic slanted in one direction across the board and then do the opposite direction ....like this ####. That way you can slip your cards under the elastic and you can display them open or closed and even move them around if you wish.

Haven't really found a US-based one, but I didn't really look that hard XP, hope this helps, good luck.

EDIT: The 2 UK-based ones look to have an online ordering option, as for AU-based, the only one I have found so far is this: http://www.cellobags.com.au/index.html, but they do wholesale only. Another one is this: http://www.dzolv.com.au/home.asp, but they don't sell online and well ... the site doesn't seem helpful.

Always a great gift for Mom.
Albums come with 25 card pages to hold 25 cards.
View both the inner and outer sections of your cards without removing them from the sleeve.

You might try searching for "Glassine" envelopes... they are not perfectly clear, but they are used a lot by stamp collectors, and they are even showing up in weddings, as a way to distribute wedding favors (mints, cards, etc)

Ive provided the link to one such stamp supplier, who has pictures of some Glassines so you can get an idea of what they look like. It wouldnt surprise me, if you found some on eBay too.

I regualrly just mount the card in the envelope with flap inside so the card can be pulled out and looked at, with the back side glued to the page.
Does anyone know another way of displaying a card using both the envelope and the card.If so describe your technique and design.
I came up two possible designs for a pocket on a page for Easter.
An Easter basket and a hatched easter egg. Which one would hold the card in envelope more securely but look more creative?

I don't scrapbook, but I would make a pocket on the page, shaped like a triangle so that when you tuck the card into the pocket, it sticks out and sits diagonally on the page. Then I would cut away the front of the envelope and mount it over the pocket to hide it. That will look like your card is coming out of the envelope so you can see it when you turn to that page, and also take the card out to read the inside whenever you want. Elsewhere on the page, add a picture of yourself with the person who sent you the card, along with any other embellishments you want.

Your ideas will both work. Just make the holder big enough to hold the card securely while still letting it show.
