I'm looking for a blog that shows pictures of greeting card (and other craft) ideas, so that I can get some inspiration for my own creations. I'm don't know much about blogging, so I don't know where to look. Please post any sites that might be beneficial to me. Thanks.

Okay well I make greeting cards. They're really good. They're honestly better than many that you would find at wal-greens or something. I have sold them before for like 2 dollars but then people stopped buying them. I would really like to extend this buy making paper gifts. I have so many paper craft magazines that help give me good ideas. Does anyone know where I would be able to sell these types of things? should I put up flyers? I don't know what to do!
with a big store such as walmart's permission, you could set up a booth outside of it and sell! ive only done it with girl scout cookies, but it would prob work! also, you could go to a farmers market or a flea market and sell. another idea is that i live on a golf course, so when i want to sell something, i set up a booth on a well used path on the golf course. trust me golfers love to buy stuff. even used golf balls and lemonade. so they will probably buy a lot from you! you could also put up fliers in stewarts or something or sell to your neighbors.
We recycle top of greeting cards and make craft from it.
where are you located?

Cards are 5"x7" in size, 75 lb cardstock (110 gsm), Smooth texture, straight edges.
I made near 300 crafted greeting cards that people rave over. I have tried to sell them at fairs but the money I pay to rent a space does not come close to what i make selling cards, I can't find a place that wants them. Should i donate them? if so, where.. I live in massachusetts. also, would it be worth it to sell them on ebay or craigslist?
if you are giving up on selling them, then donating them is a great idea. A lot of local organizations can sell them for more $ than you probably can! I have a friend who makes cards and gets permission to sell them at work each year for an American Cancer Society fundraiser. Many of the employees take part in the annual walk for a Cure and they love purchasing a few little cards to contribute even more!
I sell greeting cards at local craft shows and get tons of positive comments. I would like to try pitching them to small shoppes so they could be sold there but how do I do this? I don't want to look desperate by walking in and trying to convince the owner to sell my stuff there. I've read about trade shows but they are pretty expensive (fees, travel expenses, etc). and I don't have much start-up cost. Any advice??
You need to first develop an attractive P.O.P. display for your cards. There are a lot of fixture companies that may have a design already suited to you. You could also try a plastic fabricator to custom design a display.
I would probably target 2 to 3 stores initially to place the displays. The displays would be on consignment with the retailer paying only for what is sold. A contract or sales invoice with the terms and inventory count would need to be signed by both parties. Remember you are trying to get started so you need to make it easy for the retailer to accept your display.
Banners, window signs and other advertising materials could be developed as time permits. However, the display will have to be your primary sales tool to start. Good luck.

Letting your toddler sign this year’s holiday cards in a unique way will spice up holiday greeting cards and get them involved in sending out greeting cards. Your family and friends will love the special touch. Take a little paint, paint your toddlers hand and/or foot and make a print on the inside of your greeting cards. Leave the greeting cards open until the paint is dry. You can also use a pen to outline the shape of the hand if you can’t use paint. If you have a lot of cards, just do a few each day so your toddler doesn’t get frustrated.
