Folded Greeting Cards

Hi! Anyone know of some reputable, online stores to purchase customized greeting cards with photographs? I have prego brain and all I can think of right now is Kodak. It needs to be somewhere that ships to Canada. I'm looking for the folded greeting cards, not just the wide, one-sided ones you get at the kiosks.

Does anyone know how to make single-fold greeting cards in Microsoft Publisher using Avery card stock? I am trying to print cards with inside messages.
I have looked for an option to produce this type of card but I can't find it or it's not their.

Open a greeting card with 4 pages, and right click on the buttons where it says 1234 right click on the 2ND and third page and delete them, it will give you a single page fold card.

I'm talking about the little device that you find in the folding greeting cards that play music when you open them. All you can actually see of them is a little white tab. I need to know exactly what they are called so I can get the specs on them for an engeneering/marketing project. Thanks.

Some examples of embedded chip kits it is possible to make your own if your in engineering do some research you'll figure it out.

There are many ways to fold a greeting card. Among them are half fold, tri fold and 1/4 or quarter fold.

The appropriate fold depends on how the art is printed on the card.

The most common fold is what is called the half fold. This is used for standard cards printed on 8 1/2 x 11 size paper and folded in half while holding the sheet in portrait position.

This fold is typical for thank you cards as well.

If you're printing out a greeting card from an online website simply consider how the graphic is printed on the card face and fold along the edge where the graphic ends.

If the graphic on the card face is small take into consideration how the graphic is centered on the face. There should be an equal amount of space on the left and right site of the graphic when folding.

I want to attach my photos to blank folding Note Cards either with cut-outs for my pictures or just blank which I can then tape to or peel and stick. I will use these for gifts in a big family gathering we are having in July. I'll need just shy of 100. But I want the lowest pricing available. Then too I want to try to sell some in local shops as my photography talents improve.

I've been doing the same thing. The most cost effective method I've found is to buy good quality card paper (card "board" really) from newsagents, about 60c each, from which I can get two cards. Great colours available including metallics for 85c. Either stick photos straight on front or cut cut-outs with stanley knife and cutting mat. If you're careful enough, they look professional.
