Cards Making

My wife makes greeting cards as a hobby and I have created a website for her to show off her creations. I would also like to add some tutorials on how to make cards, and information about the products and equipment available, techniques and styles, etc.

My wife is too busy making cards to write and I don't know enough about it myself to write anything of merit.

Do you know of any websites, ebooks, etc, with relevant information that I can copy onto my website? Obviously, they would need to be copyright free or public domain. I wouldn't mind spending some money for a good ebook as long as I would have the right to extract information and display it on the site.

If anyone has written anything that I can use, I'd be grateful if you could let me have it.

Why not just include links to other sites such as docrafts. Cardmaking is now a massively popular hobby and there is plenty of info around. Half a dozen monthly magazines, lots of books (check the local library), Craft & Create and QVC on Sky and the internet, evening classes, workshops, etc. etc.
Mention your local craft shop(s). Your wife's internet suppliers.
There is no need to go to a lot of trouble reinventing the wheel.

I am going to make some greeting cards. What kind of paper is best to use?
I have card-stock, but I was thinking that layering several pieces on top of eachother could get rather heavy.
Also, what type of glue or adhesive is best to use?

I'd use a regular-weight paper for most of your layers, and cardstock for only making the actual card. For glue, use a glue stick that is acid-free, in case the recipients want to keep your card. Double-sided tape is good for larger areas. You can also use adhesive dots to raise your layers a bit.

Disney has their own line of cards so I feel like they would be skeptical to let anyone work with their copyrighted material who didn't work for them. Just wanted to let you know, good luck

Are prepaid cards accepted, and if so what type of card should I look into? I am planning a trip form San Antonio to Vegas. I only need the card to make reservations through and agency for a better price. Please help, I plan to go on the trip in 4 weeks.

Pre-paid cards are tricky when making hotel reservations and trips.
Hotels require a damage hold on funds off your card.
They never charge this amount to your card, and it's something you never see.
You can use a pre-paid card if the funds are available to cover the hold amounts. - Maybe.
Call your reservations office and simply ask.
