I am trying to find a source for the transparent envelopes so when I sell my handmade photographic greeting cards they are protected from fingerprints and dust.
First off be sure you ONLY use polyester NOT polypropylene if you really want something to last! The cost between the two is not that big of an issue. The Library of Congress uses polyester only for ENCAPSULATION of documents. Polyester has NO plasticizers and IS chemically inert, there for doesn't attack the enclosed document or in your case art. Don't be fooled by someone calling something "ARCHIVAL" when it is made from polyethylene.
Use certified "ARCHIVEL QUALITY" if you want the best.
If cost is an issue and you only care about the presentation and NOT PRESERVATION of your art than use the Polypropylene. Following are some links for you to check out.

Heather is a gifted artist - her designs are on www.wackyequestrian.com - and she asked me to help market them. I have not done this before. Any suggestions where to start? Local stores, yes, but would like to get to home shopping network, anything to do with horses.... any ideas?
I don't know about the home shopping network, but marketing ideas that could very well get a lot of exposure would be:
Trade shows: Google or Yahoo Equestrian Trade Shows, if she cant afford a booth she can simply attend with family/friends wearing her shirts, carrying business cards she can hand them out to everyone that comments on the art work
She can approach (via letter, email or phone call) ranch owners, bed and breakfast owners and offer to sell her products there if they have a small shop
Look up schools (high schools and colleges) that have horse back riding in their curriculum and send information to the head of the department. Hold a contest on your site and register the contest (goggle online contest listing services)

I just got back from a Peak Potentials training learning how stage presence and became a certified trainer! I was on the airplane to LAX and decided to look at the Delta Sky Magazine. In the bottom corner of pg. 42 i saw a piece entitling, “The Healing Power of Art.” Naturally i read on.
There is a n outlet in Port-au-Prince, Haiti called “the children’s place.” This was created for the children of Haiti to paint their feelings about the earthquake and how it affected their lives. Considering 90% of the schools in Haiti were destroyed, 500 teachers and 4000 students died, there was a need for some sort of expression.
The art paintings started off dark and ominous, however there has been a new light coming through these paintings as hope is being distilled. The paintings now are much brighter and have a glow to them. These children are painting art for hope in Haiti and it is becoming a very effective tool for healing.
