i have 6 hrs until daybreak. My plan is to make an elaborate one. Ideas please.

Just find a wall decorated card, put "greetings" at the top, in the line below, say they're invited to an aniversary. Then any lines below that, list the information on it.

Simple, indeed.

3rd? I don't know what anniversary this is. Anybody? The vegetable of the month club, maybe? Anyways, "happy anniversary" would be a good start. If you're looking for something more flowery and sentimental, you could look at some of the cards at the store for inspiration, then write it in the card you have. Something like:

"Best wishes and love to the happy couple on their special day...
May your love never grow old
and may many more anniversaries come your way"

or:

A toast, to celebrate your love and your special day,
Wishing you both the best, and a lifetime of happy memories.

Click Get Started, then click "new layout" to start making your greeting card. Pick the 5" by 7" size because that's ideal for a card. Drag and drop your photo onto the canvas. I am looking for a charity that I can send unused greeting cards to (birthday,get well,thinking of you,thanks, cards that are blank inside and anniversary). I am looking for a place that will use them not sell them to other people.thanks

I'd have to go with Catluva's idea...

Either a nursing home or a senior center. Those on a fixed income could SURE use the ability to save the $2.50 on a card.

I used to donate all my paperback books to our local senior center... I would read 4 or 5 books a week and they were elated when I'd walk in every few months with a box full of books. With the economic downturn I've been using the library rather than buying new books <pout>

APPLAUSE for your intent to "recycle" your blank cards rather than just filling our land-fills with more trash !!
