Restaurant Gift Certificate

Is there an international restaurant gift certificate web site where I can buy a certificate for a (currently unknown) Madrid restaurant?

I don't think you can unless you know what restaurants they like. Spain is not like the US where there's a bevvy of chains.

You could check into the Visa gift card or American Express but make sure they can be used overseas if you load it with US dollars.

One Card Accepted at Over 150 Restaurants

A friend of mine got a promotion and I want to send him a restaurant gift card. I don't know Houston well. He lives by where I-10 and I-45 meet, by Woodland Park.

Do you have any recommendations for a nicer restaurant near there? I'll spend $100 on a certificate.
So out of all the possible choices of restaurants in Houston, you would suggest Outback or Olive Garden?

I remember I had a brunch at the Magnolia Bar & Grille. Could you suggest something along those lines?

or if he likes chinese food, China Ko.

Maybe Olive Garden if he likes italian food.

I have a gift certificate that is several years old, and would like to know if it is still good, and also if I can use it in a different state? I am going on vacation, driving to Florida from Massachusetts, therefore I am not sure which state I would be using it in.
