Health Gift Certificate

My friend is turning 50, and I would like to buy him a heart check-up. Is this, or anything similar a possibility? How do I do it?

How about a gift certificate for a 30 or 60 minute massage? Tell him he can only use it if he sees a doctor for a physical exam.

The gift certificate was donated over 2 months ago from my personal concierge service to an organization for a silent auction. I haven't heard a peep about it until now and unfortunately assumed it was not purchased. Now, the winning bidder wants to redeem the gift certificate for housekeeping which, due to health reasons, I no longer offer as one of my services. I have mentioned that I have many other services to choose from but she specifically wants housekeeping, which at the time of the donation, I offered. Now she's upset because her family spent the money on it for her and housekeeping is what she wants- says she has no need for the other services. And to top it all off, I don't know if there is an expiration date on it or not. Any ideas on how to handle this without upsetting the customer and giving my fledgling business a bad rep? I've already thought about offering a refund of the purchase price- don't know how she'll respond to that.

Depending on how much was spent to win the gift certificate, you can either offer to refund her the amount she spent or hire someone else to provide the services and eat the cost. I would honor the request since the services were offered at the time and you probably don't need the bad rap.

I want this gift certificate from ebay. It is good for one yar for a new member only. I want to clarify the meaning of All Club Membership, can I use this membership at multiple different club locations after activation or is it restricted to just one club?

I work out at 24hr fitness and I have all club membership..
There 2 different types of gym that I cannot go to.
Super Sport and Ultra Super Sport..
This 2 clubs are way much bigger and provide valet parking,towel services with a fee,and other stupid amenities..
Personally, I think the sports clubs are huge.And provide basketball,sauna.
And the other clubs are good enough and pretty big too..
They have all the weights and cardio machines you need to get to your goal...

For complicated health reasons, my dad has to undergo a vasectomy next week. I can't figure out what to get him as a "get well" gift. Here is some information:

*not into sports or music
*buys all electronic or technological equipment himself (one year he made me return the massage chair I got him!)
*really likes plants
*I'd like to leave the gift certificates as the last resort

I'm not sure what kind of pain/discomfort he'll be in post-surgery, so I don't know what kind of "relaxing/pampering" gift would be appropriate...

Any suggestions?
Hugs and well wishes are great, but we're from a pretty traditional Chinese family and we don't show affection for one another via words or physical touch--usually it's only through gifts or actions...that's why this gift is so important! (And we have TONS of plants/flowers around the house already...but I guess it wouldn't hurt to get him that because he will like it for sure...)

besides giving your dad HUGS and WELL WISHES,.....why don't you try to give him Chinese bamboo...They are small and don't grow much..they look very preety and remain live for atleast 4-5 years....Their significance in China is that IT MAKES A PERSON HEALTHY AND WEALTHY (thats why its holy)..
